Responsibilities/Tasks
➢ Project management
➢ Vendor management.
➢ Managing/coordinating Off-shore team.

➢ Managing changes and its implementations.
➢ Supervise the daily activities of database and application teams.
➢ Documenting processes and complying with best practices in database management.
➢ DR drills.
➢ Ensure high levels of performance and availability.
➢ Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
➢ Database Upgrade and Patch update.
➢ Automation and SOP.
➢ Design and configure HA/DR based on RPO and RTO requirements.
➢ Managing security by enforcing CIS standards, Vulnerability assessment and fixes.
➢ Security Audit.
➢ POC/Testing of new apps/technologies.
➢ Installation, configuration and maintenance of MS SQL Server 2014/2016/2017/2019, Oracle 12c/19c.
➢ Always On, Replication, Mirroring, Log Shipping.
➢ TDE, Backup Encryption, Backup Compression.
➢ Database Performance tuning.
➢ SSRS, SSIS.
➢ Administration of Weblogic in stores and Oracle retails suites.
➢ Zabbix, CA ArcServe, EMC Networker, Quest Litespeed, One Automation.
Responsibilities/Tasks
➢Provide 24x7 support for production systems including MS SQL Server, Oracle and One Automation.
➢Ensure high levels of performance and availability.
➢Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
➢Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
➢Provide suggestions and solutions.
➢Perform scheduled maintenance and patch updates.
➢Database backup and recovery.
➢Database upgrade and patching.
➢Backup testing in regular interval by restoring it.
➢Deploy database change scripts provided by third party vendors/Application Team.
