Currently working as a Plant Supervisor at MKS Chemicals & Services, overseeing
the operations of the Sewage Treatment Plant at Mall of Travancore. Responsible for ensuring
smooth and efficient plant operations by supervising plant operators and monitoring daily
activities. Key responsibilities include checking and maintaining process parameters,
coordinating with the maintenance team to promptly resolve operational issues, and ensuring
uninterrupted plant performance. Also responsible for ensuring the correct usage and dosing of
treatment chemicals, maintaining accurate operational records and logbooks, and enforcing
compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

Worked as Plant Engineer at Ion Techniques, posted at the Sewage Treatment
Plant (STP) of the Mall of Travancore, Thiruvananthapuram. Involved in end-to-end operation of
the STP, including the DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) unit for FOG removal using PAC, followed by
aeration and chemical dosing with alum and polymer to promote coagulation and flocculation. Responsible for overseeing settling tank operations, managing sludge discharge, and ensuring
optimal performance of downstream treatment units, including the Filter Feed Tank, Pressure
Sand Filter (PSF), Activated Carbon Filter (ACF), and Ultrafiltration (UF) system.
Duties include real-time monitoring of process parameters, troubleshooting mechanical and
process-related issues, and carrying out system backwashing and cleaning activities. Also
responsible for ensuring that treated water consistently meets environmental discharge and reuse
quality standards. Regularly interact with the engineering team for preventive maintenance and
optimization of plant efficiency. Well versed in interpreting process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&ID
schematics, and adhering to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
