Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
Direct daily purchasing activities, supervise staff and assign tasks.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts, pricing, deadlines, etc.
Maintain vendor database, purchasing records and related documentation.
Coordinate with Inventory Control to identify and manage inventory needs.
Ensure all items procured meet required quality standards and specifications.
Develop cost estimates and manage budgets.
Work to improve purchasing systems and processes.
Train new employees on the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.
Maintaining and updating new rosters
Submitting change requests
Manage inventory levels as well as warehouse, transportation and other logistics processes
Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs
Ensure quality, quantity, customer satisfaction and financial commitments are met
Track and highlight changes in onshore logistics for aviation purposes
Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers and customers
Interacting with internal and external suppliers related to deliveries Representing colleagues in company departments during vacations
or absences
Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
Scheduling and organizing deliveries in accordance with product availability and customer requests
Maintain accurate and updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
Lead and develop logistics staff
