AREAS OF EXPERTISE
PIPELINE, HYDRO TESTING and PRE-COMMISSIONING
•Review and have a thorough understanding of specifications, scope of work, engineering Drawing (Isometric, GAD, PEL, P&ID), Task Methodology, Material approvals, Inspection and test plan, and Quality Control Plan.
Pipe line inspection, aboveground piping and underground inspection.
Preparing documents for inspection of underground piping, holiday inspection, level inspection, fit up inspection,
After completion of line offering for pressure test and review of package.
Co-ordinating with site for clearing of punch list.
Review the Isometric Drawings as per plan and P&ID inspection of fabrication and erection of piping and modify the Isometrics as per site (as built drawings).
witnessing Hydro test, Pneumatic test and Post-test Re-instatement. Ensure all pre-construction activities and qualification trials are witnessed and approved as necessary. Ensure the Inspection & Test Plan of each activity is fulfilled and “hold points” of the company are completed in due time.
Review of Layouts, piping drawings, equipment GA drawings for comments. Providing necessary process inputs to other functional groups, Enquiry and material specifications for all mechanical bought outs.
Responsible for implementation of QAP in sites, inspection according to ITP. Issue NCRs for work going against procedures.
Responsible for RFI/FIN offering Client to attend inspection.
WELDING INSPECTION
• Review of WPS, ITP, QAP, project standards and project specification.
Controlling of welders at site and fabrication shop, continuously monitoring electrodes, ensuring welders to follow correct WPS.
Consumable inspection, daily electrode store inspection,
Responsible for technical & engineering support to supervisors required at site.
Responsible for all kinds of inspection activities for incoming materials according to client checklist and standards.
Perform line-check & Monitoring the routing of piping and preparing as built drawing getting approved.
Conducting WQT for welders both TIG and SMAW, also witness with TPI from QC department.
Interpreting and evaluating of NDT Results, Ensuring all weld joint meet NDT requirement as per Line Class, ITP, QAP
Analysing problems surfaced during commissioning and addressing the same, carrying out performance trials. Familiar with International design and material specification related codes and standards like ASME sec IX, ASTM codes for all piping materials, and API.
Responsible for PMI, PWHT for welding joint required as per design, QAP, line class.
MARERIAL INSPECTION & OTHER AREA OF EXPERTIES
Participate in the site internal and external quality audits
Incoming material inspection, verification of test certificate as per specification or drawing or QAP or Standards, visual inspection of incoming material, dimensional inspection of incoming material as per drawing.
Responsible for incoming material inspection, process inspection, final product inspection, pre dispatch inspection.
Able to perform dimensional inspection of machined, casting parts by using different types of dimensional measuring instruments
Abel to use measuring instruments like, Vernier Caliper, Micrometers, Profile Projector, Profile Tracer, Surface Finish Testing Machine, CMM (Coordinating, Measuring, Machine).
Strictly implementing, 1S & 2S in sites, work shop and at work place.
Calibration of Gauges, Special Gauges.
Able to lead a team, working under pressure, maintaining all QC related documents.
Capable of use and measure instruments in 2D & 3D.
