RESEARCH PROJE CTS Senior Design Project: Shoebill Stork Habitat Emulation - Design and simulation of a controlled habitat management system for a pair of Shoebill storks by emulating a freshwater tidal marsh. - Tasks included pump and pipe selection, creation of piping layouts, construction of a prototype, flow analysis in SolidWorks, and fluids mechanics calculations of the entire system. Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Course Project - Cooling load analysis of the new Qatar Foundation headquarters building. - Tasks included design of floor-plan layouts and ductwork using Visio, selection of cooling systems (AHU), calculation of head losses and selection of appropriate pumps.
