2.1 Responsibility as Package Owner for CHP and Fuel Oil System
• Ensuring work safety at site by direct involvement with workers, clearance of critical lifting procedures etc.
• Coordinate construction activities between Owner, Civil Contractor and Mechanical contractor.
• Development of detailed execution schedule for both the system.
• Optimising and influencing adequate resource mobilisation by the contractors.
• Ensuring weekly and monthly targets are achieved.
• Directing work as per drawings, P&IDs and ensuring FQPs are followed.
• Generation and liquidation of punch lists, Trial runs, cold commissioning and final commissioning.

2.2 Responsibility as commissioning planner ( 6 nos of 150 MW units)
• Development of detailed commissioning schedules and coordinating among various sub-systems for overall commissioning of units.
• Acting as a single point contact for coordination among cross-functional commissioning team and BOP~BTG Team.
• Implementation of LOTO system during system commissioning.
• Generation of Punch list and monitoring of the liquidation of the punch list work.
• Ensuring availability of BOP systems, fuel, ash evacuation, lube oils and consumable during commissioning periods.
• Coordinating statutory requirements with various statutory authorities.

Project : 0.12 TPA Refractory Manufacturing Plant

Tenure : 2.0 Years

NRL had purchased the plant, machinery and Technology of an Italian Refractory plant SIRMA at Marghera Venice. The same plant with additional balancing equipment were transported and re-engineered at Dhenkanal Orissa. The plant capacity increase from 24, 000 MTPA to 1, 24, 000MTPA. The total cost of the project was Rs 120 Crs.

3.1 Roles and Responsibility
• Project Manager for the Expansion and Modernisation Project. Leading a team of 15 engineers
• Owning overall safety, Quality and Schedule of the project.
• Managing various stake holders involved; Investors, Management, Companies, Contractors
• Dismantling, Packing and Forwarding of equipment from Venice, Italy to India. Coordinating with the overseas dismantling contractor for safe and proper dismantling of equipment.
• Taking over technical documentation with respect to plant and process.
• Engineering of new facility at Dhenkanal Orissa with the help of design consultant DCPL.
• Negotiating and contracting services and materials for various systems and sub-systems.
• Overseeing civil works and Erection activity. Contract management with the contractors.
• Assigning of responsibility with in the team and team management.
• Resolution of technical, contractual, HR, IR issues with close coordination with Managing Director.
• Cost Control by optimising design, resources and schedule.
• Reporting to the project stakeholders.

• Preparing presentations, Board notes for approval from the Board of Directors.
• Analysing Mergers and Acquisitions proposals.
