: DHN, as Scrum Master- Offshore/Onshore
PRODUCT - DHN is designed to create a next generation set of consumer services and experiences designed to derive consumer heath ownership. DHN’s capabilities will enable consumers to make better decisions regarding the benefits, health and wellness, healthcare finances. The program was being executed as Scrum of Scrums in a onshore-offshore model
Roles and Responsibility
Task performed to Product Owner:
•Help Product team to prioritize, own and maintain the Product Backlog, help them in definition of epics, user stories, acceptance criteria
•Serve as -voice of the customer- with delivery teams, representing/reinforcing the customer 's perspective throughout the product realization cycle
•Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, business analysts, developers, testers and others to develop and execute against Product Roadmaps and Release Plans
•Continuously and transparently communicate with internal stakeholders the prioritization of the Product Backlog and the status of development efforts via Product Demos, Release Plans and other means. Work closely with Product team
•Facilitate Backlog refinement calls and work with Product owners to Define, prioritize, drive realization of specific product vision
•Experienced in writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance
•Act as the subject-matter expert for assigned products and support the product team
•Will be part of Product team to Break down epic-level user stories into detail-level stories consumable and testable by a scrum team
•Understand the process of Reviews, accepts, and prioritizes feedback and new requirements from project stakeholders
•Work with Business Analysts and other team members to ensure the product functionality is appropriately documented.
Task performed to Scrum Team:
•Managing 2 Scrum teams of 16 (9 Onshore, 7 Offshore resources).
•Managing offshore/onshore teams in different geographical regions.
•As a Scrum Master my role was to empower the team to remove any hurdles/impediments in their way and create a self-organized team.
•Facilitate Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint review and Sprint Retrospective session.
•Facilitate Pre-planning call with Scrum Team a walkthrough session on prioritized feature with the solutioning and will have a team grooming session.
