Headed the expansion activity team for Company involving presentations to the Board of Directors, fixing the 5 year strategy, approaching, discussing and finalizing for capital expansion and working capital loans with financial institutions, finalizing with the Board of Directors, the range of components to be manufactured (especially for aircraft industry) based on strategy, finalizing the manufacturing processes, deciding on machines to be purchased, recruiting and training of personnel, while ensuring completion as per time and proposed cost.

Achieved ISO-TS 16949 for Companies without any findings, and preferred supplier status from Tier-1 automotive companies. Promoted to Alternate Director for managing overall Indian business and steered the business for other application development such as crowd control barriers, retractor systems for vacuum cleaners, washing machines, portable generator sets and for carbon brush holders for electric motors. Awarded the "Best Manager" in Group in 2006.

As production increased, the need for in-house manufacture of Special Purpose Machines for multi-jobs was needed. Initially as Manager SPM Manufacturing and later as Head Tool Room and SPM Manufacturing, I was responsible for identifying the bottlenecks in production in line with the Company's strategy and accordingly manufacture machines to overcome the bottlenecks.
Assisting Design department for refurbishing older machines, manufacturing critical parts in Tool Room, initiating out-sourcing activity of sub-assemblies by identifying suitable suppliers, the final assembly and trials of machines was carried out by my team under my guidance.
As part of the Continuous Improvement process, I was credited with changing the design process from drawing board based to AutoCad based.
The above actions resulted in huge savings for the Company as well as being flexible in the production processes.
