Job Description:
Projects:
i) Maintain the detailed project documents as per document list (Such as control philosophy, single line diagram and piping and instrumentation, Equipment& Instrument data sheet, Cable schedule).
ii) System designing including PLC programming (Final changes in site; Initial program will be by vendor), control system design, cable selection, motor selection, Utility calculation, cable routing, piping routing and etc.
iii) Prepare project plan with schedule to meet customer forecast date. Update the plan as necessary.
iv) Support 3D designer to ensure the project requirements are fulfilled.
v) Communicating the project requirements and work requests to supports internally/Production and vendors/purchase.
vi) Coordinating to analyze the electrical/instrument hardware both mechanically and electrically to identify the components as applicable.
vii) Providing support for supplier selection, evaluation and substantiation activities for assigned hardware from technical perspective and coordination with suppliers to ensure manufacturability.
viii) Coordinating with other departments (Design, QC, Production, Installation and Service and maintenance) from start to finish for entire project and review the status of project with concerned divisions.
ix) Mentoring the small team of 3-4 members and review the work done by the team.
x) Providing the technical support by mail or phone; offering real time solution and service directly to the customer.
Proposals:
i) Studying and analyzing customer RFQ’s and Tenders and preparing deviation reports.
ii) Basic Front End Engineering Design (FEED) - Preparing Process flow diagram.
iii) Assist with Project director in project proposal, RFQ, tenders, budgets and preliminary schedule.
iv) Preparation of detailed Techno-Commercial bid.
Installation and commissioning supervision:
i) Complete the site as per contractual deadline.
ii) Installation and modification of PLC and HMI program
iii) Coordinating with the mechanical team to ensure the work completion.
Procurement coordination:
i) Preparation of technical specification for bought out items (Electrical equipments and instruments)
ii) Prepare procurement plan with planned date of enquiry, planned date of order and planned date of delivery with budget Vs actual to meet project profitability. Update the plan as necessary.
iii) Handing proposal to dispatch ( For typical items such as control panel)
I completed my B.E from SSM College of Engineering control of Anna University, namakkal where I majored in Electrical and Electronics with 85 percentages. I strongly believe that I can make a very meaningful and impactful contribution to your reputed organization.
