Time to stock up on a new career! Stock clerks move products from the warehouse to store shelves. This could be in a grocery store, electronics store, department store, or any number of different locations. Stock clerks take merchandise that has arrived, unpack merchandise from the warehouse, check for damage, Expiry Dates, Production Dates or mislabeling, and get it where it needs to be. Often, stock clerks use handheld tracking scanners to make sure the right items are in the right place, and update inventory records.
