Wealth Securities Settlements-

 Dealt with Equities, Fixed Income and Bonds.
 Pre-matching of settlements with financial institutions
 Experience in markets such as CREST, Euro clear and DTC.
 Extensive hands-on experience from Front, Middle to Back office in interacting with sales, trading, banking, operational and credit & compliance as well as external parties such as Agent Banks, Transfers agents, Exchanges and regulatory bodies.
 Handled the settling of trades with high values, over 50 Million GBP.
 Accustomed to high volume, volatile markets.
 Experience with international and cross-border settlements.

Trade Support:-

 Ensure timely pre-matching of trades on T+1 and also by ensuring the priority is set high of trades settling over 500K
 Developed excellent rapport with Front Office and counterparties which ensured timely matching and amendment of the trades during discrepancies.
 Settlement
 Monitored the trades for T+3 and T+2 settlements
 Continuous interaction with counterparties to ensure smooth settlements
 Initiated the Buy-in procedure in Wealth settlements for all the purchase trades failing to settle which ensured clearance of legacy fails and breaks
 Timely notification of all the failing sales which ensured no buy in threat received since migration further ensuring that the dealers bought back the stock to settle the failing sales
 Handled counterparties efficiently where ensured the purchases /sales transactions are pre-matched and settlement on settlement date thereby eradicating any failing trades which resulted in no buy-ins received

Reconciliation:-

 Ensured to create and verify a daily breaks reconciliations report to management
 Ensured the first escalation procedure is followed on all the 5+ days breaks which are still not cleared due to the dependence of other teams.
 Complied and processed monthly breaks reports.
