Duties and responsibilities:
• Industrial, commercial and residential installations.
• Repair, servicing and installation of UPS', inverters and solar panels.
• Power factor correction
• Sizing and installation audits of inverters, generators, and ups'.
• Installation of motors and their starters both direct and soft starters.
• Design and wiring of single and dual ATS' (Automatic Transfer Switch), AMFs (Automatic Mains Fail) and configuration of CTI (Central Transfer Interface)
• Wiring of generator control systems from scratch using control modules such as deep sea (all types), power master, and power wizard 1&2.
• Installation of inverters, generators, Data Centre Infrastructure and Commissioning of the Equipment.
• Regular and up to date updates of all paperwork such as specific design drawings, technical specifications, reference materials, blue forms, onsite service forms, helpdesk database.
• Generator servicing and maintenance.
• General electrical maintenance and repairs.
Assisting Technicians to carry out engineering works
Diploma in Electrical Instillation (city and guilds), Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (city and guilds), holder of a class1 electrician
Ordinary Level 7 subjects including Pure Physics, Physical Science, English, and Mathematics Special Carrier Achievement: Completed online Energy Courses by Schneider Energy University
