Started as a IT Support Team leader and promoted as a
Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting different types/models of
HP Proliant servers, Blade servers and Integrity servers.
* Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting all types of HP
Peripherals.
* Implemented DHCP server and configured the clients thru DHCP in Toyota
Saud Bahwan’s group, DGPM Diwan, Ministry of National Economy and
Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries
* Managing the internal Active Directory, Exchange 2003 and also the
TrendMicro antivirus management server.
* Was also a Customer Engineer providing support to the internal clients in
Bank Muscat.
* Their after was assigned and debited as a
Customer Support Engineer for Hewlett Packard, Compaq, IBM, Dell, Epson
& Samsung hardwares as Redington was the Authorised service provider
for the same.
* Installing, Configuring and Providing onsite support on HP, Compaq and
IBM Desktops and Laptops and troubleshooting hardware and software
issues..
* Installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting all types of HP
Peripherals(Designjet Plotters, High end Colour Laserjet and Laserjet
Printers, Inkjet printers, Scanjets and multifunctional printers).
* Installation and Configuration of High end Organizational Network
Peripherals thru the Internal/External HP Jetdirect card and Print servers.
Maintaining and Monitoring them using the HP Jetadmin and Web
Jetadmin softwares.
* Providing 24/7 support to the major clients on the HP Proliant Mid Range
servers and also for the Designjet Plotters and Colour Laserjet printers for
the Media and Graphics customers.
* Performing regular quarterly preventive maintenance on all the
hardwares to all he clients under Maintenance agreement and also
checking the disk capacity, cpu utilization, memory bottleneck, antivirus
update and operating system security patches on the
servers, workstations, desktops and laptops.
* Setting up of Microsoft Windows Proxy server 2.0 and configuring the
client desktops thru it in the Cyber café.
* Major Clients handled IBM, DELL International, Digital
India, Compaq, Accenture, Rittal India Ltd, Ingersoll Rand, Yokogwa Blue
Star, Mphasis, ITC Filtrona Ltd and Tommy Hilfigure.
