• Restructured the Motor City multi-brand auto business, directly managed the business in the transformation phase, and developed a strategic five-year growth plan.

The retail division of NBK for vehicles, automotive commodities, international distribution, and aftersales. Containing Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki, MV Agusta, BOSCH Services & Parts, Michelin Tires, Petrol Station, FOTON Commercial Vehicles, and Ziebart with 250+ employees. Deeply involved at NBK group level in business development and re-organization of the entire automotive group, reporting to the Group COO.

Key Achievements:
• Efficiently managed the reorganization and turnaround of the divisional units, doubling growth and revenue and operating profit over 2012.
• Transformed Harley-Davidson into the most successful HD dealership in MENA, awarded as Best Dealer in 2013 & 2014.
• Doubled sales revenues in the tire unit.
• Grew BOSCH by 90%, to be the best wholesaler in batteries and breaking technology.
• Successfully changed the organizational structure and established a reliable and target-oriented management team.

The Kawasaki OEM distributor for the GCC region, including North Africa, sole importer for Marangoni Tires, and various Asian tire brands. One of the market leaders in OE car spare part importing and trading, regional exclusive agent for SPX/BOSCH car diagnostics, and OE special tools with 120 employees.

Key Achievements:
• Efficiently directed and managed overall functional and operating processes of the four subsidiaries Kawasaki Middle East, Kawasaki Kuwait, SPX/BOSCH Special Tools Middle East, and Al-Radwan International Group. Intensified overall relations with suppliers in Europe, Asia, and North America. Increased the tire business by 80%.
• Initiated change management processes to support the establishment of functional controlling units, devised/implemented monitoring mechanisms, and KPI’s to ensure the achievement of group objectives.
• Grew Kawasaki sales within the GCC dealer network by 40% and established two new dealers.

• Researching investment opportunities and conceptualizing business development ventures including rollout plans.
• Designing and implementing strategic business plans for all phases of the business life cycle (start-up, expansion, and turnaround) to promote aggressive revenue, profitability, and growth in the group.

The exclusive dealer of Audi, Lamborghini, and Skoda for Kuwait with various diversified subsidiaries in the automotive industry for the oil, tires, spare parts, car accessories and tools business with a total 350 employees. Joined the company as Head of Corporate Sales & Export (Audi & Skoda) and worked up the hierarchy to the position of General Manager for BERNER of Kuwait WLL.

Key Achievements:
• Established the daughter company of Fouad Alghanim and entered into a Joint Venture with BERNER of Germany for Kuwait and the UAE.
• Built-up a functioning company just within 18 months and achieved the highest sales turnover per head amongst all BERNER country organizations.
• Responsible for the biggest fleet deals of Audi in the whole GCC for 2009 and 2010.
• Achieved a 55% share in annual new car sales of the dealership.
• Improved QPP value from 38 to 135 points within one year.

One of the world leaders as an independent exporter and trading house for all kinds of automotive spare parts, car accessories (i.e., AMG, BRABUS, BBS, AC Schnitzer, etc.) and tires with 60% export to Asia with a total of 80 employees.

Intensive business traveling up to six months per year, with a focus on North America and Far East, to strengthen supplier and customer relationships. Transformed turnover and profit within six months of employment, launched new product lines and doubled profit margins. Expanded operations across two group companies, averaged 20% growth of profit and turnover within three years and restructured the sales team to enhance multicultural relations.
