As Wellsite Geologist for Qatar Gas my responsibility was supervising day to day geological operations and wellsite activities including but not limited to: reporting to operations geologist, compile daily/weekly and final geological reports written and oral (when needed) for exploration teams in town, supervise mud logging, wireline logging crews and units and quality check of mud logging/wireline crews, units and reports to ensure they meet planned schedules and quality requirements, pick up formation tops, casing and coring points using cuttings, ROP, L/MWD and to make offset wells log correlations, describe and evaluate cuttings, make lithological and stratigraphical interpretation, support Qatar Gas exploration department for offshore wells. Advise drilling personnel on lithostratigraphic sequence, pay zones, rate of penetration and drilling hazards. Supervise cased hole wireline logs. Keep track record of personnel movements.

As Wellsite Geologist for Stogit my responsibility was supervising day to day geological operations and wellsite activities including but not limited to: reporting to operations geologist, monitor drilling operations and data gathering, assisting exploration team in town in correct and initial interpretation of rig data, supervise mud logging and wireline logs crews and units, quality check of mud logging/wireline equipment and reports to ensure they meet programmed schedules and quality requirements, perform on site geological analysis to meet geological objectives (pick up formation tops, casing and coring points using cuttings, ROP, L/MWD and wireline logs to make correlations with closest wells, describe and evaluate cuttings), make lithological and stratigraphical interpretation, advise drilling personnel on lithostratigraphic sequence, pay zones, rate of penetration and hazardous intervals, advise also on wireline logging program and witness for hydrogen storage wells in north Italy in clastic reservoirs. I used Wellview software to do daily geological report. I compile daily geological and final well reports for geological exploration team in town.

Supervised successfully mud logging and wire line units to ensure correct and the best quality of the logs and information provided adhering to company and HSE standards in exploration/delineation wells onshore and offshore in Saudi Arabia in conventional/unconventional and H2S and HP/HT reservoirs.
Examined and described in accurate and precisely manner cuttings and conventional/unconventional coring samples, performed fluorescence check in case of oil/gas shows, pick up top of the formations, casing and coring points in exploration/delineation and development wells onshore and offshore to ensure safe drilling and save money.
Gave promptly geological advices to company man and drilling engineer in case of need to ensure always safe and optimisation of drilling and save money.

Managed successfully ultradeep waters/deep waters wells offshore Brazil as Data Engineer to ensure safe drilling and save time and money supporting Company man and drilling crew.
Early detected, managed successfully kick with H2S gas release in deep waters well offshore Brazil and helping Company man and drilling crew.

Successfully made up subsidence trend study for Kashgan field in Kazakhstan utilizing well logs data.
Competently made up Sicily Channel study to highlight new plays and ventures possibilities for future area exploration.

Successfully monitored as Unit Manager daily geological data acquisition activities, quality control, analysis and distribution occurring at the rig site to ensure accurate and high quality data and no time and information losses for oil and drilling operator.

Promoted from Mud Logger to Data Engineer after two years and trained on field junior staff (mud loggers and sample catchers) to teach them about job, sensors, attitude to keep at work and general aspect of job.
Managed as Data Engineer/Mud Logger several drilling problems (stuck pipes, side track, fishing, and back off) in Libya supporting Company Man and drilling crew to save money and time.
