The company’s main business activity is providing in-country support to companies. My responsibilities were to
produce month end reports, monitors client billings, bank & petty cash reconciliation, liaise with auditors for year end
audits and other tasks as requested by management.
The company was in the palm oil industry in Malaysia, here I was given the task of the accounts payable section of the
company’s accounts, where I performed month end closing including journal entries, posting of supplier invoices, debit
& credit notes, prepare the creditors reconciliation to ensure accounts payable are up-to-date, process payments for
suppliers, performed bank reconciliation & bank abstract, compute the month end closing stock for the crude palm oil &
palm kernels, perform monthly computations of the Sabah Sales Tax & MPOB Cess, attend to matters relating to the
inventories in the accounts, liaise with suppliers on payments & issues with invoices, attend to auditors & tax agents for
the yearly company audit, filing of documents and assist in the updating of master data in the accounting system. I had
a total of 3 years and 7 months working experience with this company.
The company was in the audit & tax industry in Malaysia, where I was given the task to perform and generate the
income tax computation for individuals & companies, liaise with the Inland Revenue board officers and advice clients in
accordance with the Malaysian Income Tax Law. I had a total of 1 year and 3 months working experience with this
