other subsidiaries in the region like Healthcare, Construction, Retail & Distribution, Investment,
and Real Estate. TES is a leading group in Kuwait in the education industry and was established
more than 4 decades ago, they hold British and American Curriculum Schools in Kuwait (Gulf
English School & Atakamul International School), Egypt and KSA.

Senior HR Officer

Analysing the vacancies for the next Academic year and preparing of Manpower for both
American and British Curriculum Schools. It includes number of classes per grade and number
of teachers required per subject on the basis of number of admissions of students and ministry
approvals.
 Mass Recruitment of Local and Overseas teachers from New Zealand, Australia, UK, USA,
Ireland, Serbia, Bosnia, South Africa and Kuwait. Local Recruitment of Head Office positions in
Kuwait, KSA and Egypt.
 Conducting and planning of Open Recruitment Day for Local hires and coordinating Overseas
Recruitment Events in USA and UK.
 Advertising vacancies and screening profiles from portals like Teach Away, Tes global,
International Schools services, University of Northern Iowa, University of Liverpool, LinkedIn,
Indians in Kuwait, Bayt.com, Naukrigulf.com and recruitment agencies. Also contacting
different universities to check whether any freshers would be interested to join our company
for doing their internship or for a job.
 Telephone screening and coordinating Skype, IMO or Face to Face Interviews with Academic
Heads of the school and Executive Management.
 Documentation, follow up and coordination of recruitment process (Offer/reject/Hold).
Preparation and sending of offer letters/contracts and liaising in regards to Home Country Visa
process and Kuwait On Boarding procedures.
 Coordinating and dealing with the Accommodation queries, requests and requirements from
old and new staffs and discussing with the accommodation and maintenance supervisors.
 Ordering and following up with the procurement department for the Welcome Kit’s for new
staff. Also checking of inventory in stock and analyzing future need.
 Preparation of Job Descriptions, Letters and forms like Letter of Intents, Termination Letters,
Certificate of employment, Salary Certificates, Warning letters, Salary advance forms,
Acceptance of Resignation, Memo’s/Invoices etc.
 Preparation and coordination of On Boarding of New Hires (Email ID Creation, Desktop/Laptop
ordering, workstation assignment, Orientation Day preparations, joining formalities), Off
Boarding of employees (Exit Interviews, Handover, final settlement)
 Performance evaluation during and after probation, quarterly performance review,
Performance appraisal and increment process.
 Maintaining and revising of HR Policies and Procedures, Organization charts and VISIO’s.
 Maintaining and revising school website verbiages according to current events or needs.
 Analysis on fee structure of various schools in Kuwait, analysis on cost incurred for
recruitment, profit or loss analysis. Preparing of reports on them.
 Worked on confidential requirements for other sectors in the group.
 Have also been a part of School Accreditation process.

 Received a lot of appreciations from Academic Heads, Executive management and Overseas
Candidates on exceptional service rendered.
 Got Promoted from Hr Officer to Sr HR Officer in Jan’19.

Assistant Manager –HR

When a need arises for hiring a new employee, discussing the budget allocated for the
respective position with the Director.
 Advertising the job requirement on external portals like Naukri, Monster, and Indeed etc.
Screening qualified profiles, taking preliminary interviews, briefing candidates on the job role,
scheduling and coordinating face to face interviews with the Director.
 Negotiating offers, preparing and sending of offer letters.
 Collecting of candidate documents related to education and employment, coordinating with the
third party vendor on background verification.
 Coordinating with the IT team on assigning desktop, creation of employee ID and badge
creation.
 Sending orientation details to the candidate, coordinating the onboarding, introducing the new
employee to the existing team members. Coordinating the training schedule with the trainer.
 Employee filling and maintaining employee database.
 Handling employee grievances and Discussing the grievances with the Director if the matter is
not resolved.
 Employee communications like Announcements, HR Circulars etc.
 Attendance management, leave management, preparing the holiday list for the year.
 Managing and building relationship with the clients. Talking to clients regarding the
performance of each employee on a monthly basis. Coordinating with the trainer on how to
improve employee performance.
 Handled and coordinated termination, promotion and demotion formalities with the Director
and the payroll manager.
Appreciations/Acievements/Awards:-
 Introduced rewards and recognition program:- Every quarter an employee would be assessed on the
quality of his performance and he would be given the employee of the quarter award along with an
additional incentive. This helped in employee retention and a better performance.

Once the hiring manager raises a vacancy. Putting up the job description on internal and
external job portals like Monster, Dice and Naukri. To screen and source resumes for the
respective positions.
 Taking preliminary interviews, briefing the candidates regarding the position and their
responsibilities in the new role and scheduling interviews with the hiring manager.
 Collecting of required employment documents and coordinating the initiation of background
Verifications with vendors like Sterling backcheck, Verifications Inc and First advantage.
Evaluating the background check results. Coordinating with the vendors for any discrepancies
in the background check reports.
 Preparing of offer letter and sending them to candidate along with the key employment
agreement and business conduct guidelines.
 Sending out new hire details to the new hire IT team in order to have the laptop/desktop
ordered and to make seating arrangements for the candidates.
 Preparing of weekly and monthly reports on how many requisitions are closed, how many are
open and how long did it take to close the requisitions.
 To maintain employee files, Time and Leave management and attendance management.
 Training and mentoring new hires in the team to scale up to the speed of an existing team
member.
 Have been a part of conducting mass recruitment drives, campus recruitments.
 Have been an active member in organizing fun events, sports tournaments, yearly trips for the
team.
 Initially before the team went live, I worked on assessing the best HRMS system that could be
used as a ERP system for smooth flow of HR activities.

 Received Appreciations from stakeholders and customers for diligent efforts in closing the
requisitions quickly and for providing qualified candidates.
