Inspection & Refurbishment of Forcados Terminal Crude Storage Tanks 201 - 210 (10 tanks of 76.2m diameter and 100, 000m3 capacities each), 4 Crude dehydration and Emulsion tanks of 48.8m diameter each with a total budget of 500million USD. .

• Manage site construction activities in cost effective and timely manner, ensuring that planned projects completion dates are met.
• Plan, Control and Execute site construction activities in accordance with Company’s Statement of General Business Principles, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and specification, paying due regard to Safety, Health, Environment, Security, Community Affairs, opportunities and value drivers.
• Supervise site preparation / tank isolation, gas freeing, oil recovery, de-sludging and cleaning activities
• Interface with API 653 Inspectors to carry out condition survey on Tank bottom/annular plate, tank shell, floating roof deck and stiffener boxes, primary wind girder and other tank accessories.
• Supervise upgrade of the Fire Protection System / Roof Drain System.
• Inspect and monitor daily grit blasting and painting of the tanks and accessories.
• Supervise all mechanical repair works (Tank bottom/annular plate, tank shell, floating roof deck and stiffener boxes, primary wind girder, rolling ladder and other tank accessories in line with the condition survey reports).
• Change out of existing roof seal and installation of new peripheral and roof legs seals.
• Supervise tank jack up and construction of new Tank foundation in line with applicable standards.
• Review of all Quality control plan and inspection documents.
• Familiarization with all relevant drawings, API /ASME / SHELL (SCS & DEPS) codes and implementation on daily engineering practices.
• Supervise tank box-up, hydrotest and calibration.
• Supervise commissioning activities, ensuring smooth hand-over of facilities to Assets Owners after successful commissioning.
• Supervise the pre-mobilisation Inspection of Contractor’s Equipment and Plant facilities ensuring that they are adequate and safe for work
• Review Contractor’s work Plan and procedures including schedules by ensuring that they are workable and conform to approved specification
• Coordinate permit to work system with Asset Team in pursuance of safe execution of project
• Prepare and issue site daily, weekly and monthly project progress reports.
• Supervise Demobilization of Personnel, Plant and Equipment from site.
• Manage Contractor HSSE during project delivery to ensure achievement of “Goal Zero” objective i.e. zero fatality and no significant spill to the environment.
• Managing multiple interfaces to achieve timely delivery, whilst minimising potential for Contractor downtime and claims.

• Supervised split down and refurbishment of gas compressor units (Superior, Nuovo Pignone, Ingersoll-Rand, and Ajax) and other station facilities.
• Supervised split down and refurbishment of Ingersoll-Rand Instrument Air Compressor package.
• Managed the refurbishment of all process units (dehydration unit, dew point correction unit, 3- phase separators and LP/HP liquid drains) in the facilities.
• Ensured that welding, painting and Control Building refurbishment activities were carried out to specifications.
• Supervised pipeline pigging operations and nitrogen purging of the compressor stations.
• Planned and updated refurbishment schedules and handled documents transmittals.
• Scheduled interface meetings between clients and contractors.
• Coordination between construction, commissioning and operations for the commissioning activities.
• Coordinated receipt and issuing of Operations material spares during the commissioning stage of the NGC Compressor stations.
• Monitored contracts strictly to ensure compliance with time schedule and high quality of work.
• Managed gas production from the Facilities for various time intervals before handover to production.

  • Classical Music
    I have groomed my choir of 50 members capacity and led them to the Delta State of Nigeria annual Christmas Carol musical concert for 4 times in 5 years span and performed excellently in classical music with various cash awards and public recognition. I also attend Leadership seminars at least twice every year to horn my leadership skills. Enjoy teaching ranging from formal to presentations.
