Reporting into the VP Business Development (Expo 2020), managing all aspects of delivery into the Expo 2020 site for standalone pavilions, multiple supported country pavilions and local premium sponsors in terms of all requirements relating to contractual agreements. Design and implementation and distribution of food and beverages to all pavilions and retail outlets.
Key accomplishments:
Designed and developed over 135 SOP’s and processes for Expo 2020 operations relating to logistics and supply chain
Managed tendering for a restaurant booking application to support 5 Expo 2020 restaurants and tender management for rate card services and delivery across the site
Developed and submitted the post event operational decommissioning for all relevant areas

Reporting to the Managing Director, Premium Fashion & Department Stores, leading a team of 10 (expanded from 3), delivering to over 250 stores across 6 countries, responsible for managing supply chain operations across the Middle East.
Key responsibilities:
•Staffing the Departments (all aspects of recruitment, staff management and staff retention).
•Responsible for ensuring all aspects of succession planning (training needs analysis, mentoring of staff)
•All aspects of supply chain logistics.
•Supporting the Brand team with seasonal launches and press events.
Key accomplishments:
•Reducing the lead-time for Guess and F& F Brands from 24 days to 7 days (F&F) and 5 Days (Guess).
•Responsible for Robinsons product to be delivered direct within 24-48 hours of arriving in the UAE.
•Being a part of the opening team of Robinsons, ensured that 98% of the opening merchandise was present.
•Saving in excess of AED10m, by setting up consolidation/segregation hubs in Hong Kong, Italy, France, US and UK.
•Realised significant cost reduction within the fashion supply chain while increasing the speed to market
•Managed the import and re-export of 16 brands (Guess, F&F, Kate Spade, bebe, Sandro, Maje, BCBG, Kiabi, John Lewis, Robinsons Department Store, Ted Baker, ba&sh, la fee and Vince Camuto
Reporting to the Senior Vice President Supply Chain and Logistics, and leading a team of 6 (plus 60 indirect and 40 contract labour), I was responsible for project managing 40, 000 sq m, AED 118m warehouse construction (plus AED 24m internal fit out including automated storage and picking). Managed the site operations base in JAFZA, and overseeing operations for lifestyle brands. Responsible for reviewing SLA’s with business units to ensure alignment with current and future operations
Key Accomplishments:
Yearly inbound and outbound freight negations leading to 15% saving year on year freight spend.
Optimised on time delivery performance to 98% in the UAE.
Increased productivity by 25% through process reviews and processing layout.
Successfully managed on time Go-Live in Oracle ERP of three brands.
Annual stock count results of 99.99% against stock holding of 800, 000 units, with a through put of 12 million units.
Project managing a 168, 000 sqm new distribution centre which is to include automation and to handle 35 million units per year, engagement with logistics consultant.
Port to store reduce from 6 days to 4 days.
E-Commerce implementation and fulfilment design and implementation for one established brand and one new brand.
Managing a third party logistics facility both from a contractual and operational perspective within one of the largest distribution centres within the Jebel Ali Free Zone. Controlling all aspects of the warehouse including import/export, management of all warehouse and administration personnel, individual client contract management.
Managed the operations in JAFZA for MMI, Philips and HP
Developed the merchandising profile of retail store across Afghanistan. Including procurement, POSM, Planograms, Supply Chain,
Store Development Team to support the business with new store openings and old store closures
Management of the store in support of the store manager. Drive sales and KPI's of the sales team
