Responsibilities included, key account management of two freight forwarder network accounts realizing in excess of $24m p.a. The role required local rate negotiation with 20 individual country entities, joint approaches to multinational companies in all sectors, solution selling to Country Management and ensuring agreed service levels were achievable and maintained. I was responsible for providing budget and forecasting information and business planning for my accounts. Set up and management of a network of sales agencies selling spare capacity on DHL aircraft.
• Facilitated key accounts to access the DHL Network through 85 origin offices all over Europe and increased revenue by 25%.
• Set up a network General Sales Agencies throughout Europe selling spare capacity on DHL aircraft reducing aircraft operating costs.
