Al-Thurya Radiation Services Co. is mainly providing the Survey, Equipment supply,
Transportation, Training, Consultancy, Construction & Maintenance Services of
Radioactive Materials as per National & International Rules and Regulations and
Approved by the Radiation Protection Department - MOH

Responsibilities:

 Planning, Development and implementation of current and new business process as well as marketing activities in order to meet various goals for retention of goals for retention of growth and profitability.
 Responsible for Sales, Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Training of Thermo Scientific Radiation Monitoring and Safety equipment’s and Analytical Instruments.
 Responsible for the Sales of Radiation measuring and safety Equipment’s to Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, Oil sectors, NDT Companies, Kuwait Customs, Kuwait University, Kuwait Airways, KISR etc.
 Responsible for the Sales and Service of Portable Analytical Instruments used for material Identification to NDT Companies, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Electricity and Water, Precious metal Industries etc.
 Responsible for the Maintenance in Ministry of health for Personal Radiation Detectors, Radiation Contamination Survey meters, Personal Dosimeters, Area Monitors, Portal Monitors, TLD Readers, N2 Generators, and such Radiation Detection Instruments.
 Responsible for sales of TLD’s for all persons working under radiation in overall Kuwait.
 Works in a field environment for conducting NORM surveys and/or collecting samples. Responsible for surveying NORM contaminated Pipes, Boilers, Valves, etc.
 Works in a field environment for Conducting Radiation Contamination Surveys in Electric Arc Furnace Dust in Kuwait Steel Companies.
 Preparation of Tender documents including the Quotations, specifications, and value engineering, bill of quantities, technical offer, technical clarification, and list of deviation to the specification etc.
 Monitors status of project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule.
 Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
 Sending Enquiries, Collecting Offers, Preparing Comparative Statements and Weekly Reports.
 Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Projects Handled:

 Lead Engineer in EAF Dust Survey Project in Kuwait Steel Company for Conducting Radiation Contamination Surveys.
 Lead Engineer in NORM Survey Project in KOC, GC-27 for Conducting NORM Survey.
 Project lead Engineer in Kuwait Customs ongoing project for Radiation Monitoring Stations in borders.
 Installation, Commissioning and training of Thermo Scientific Radiation Area Monitor at Radiation Bunkers in companies like Schlumberger, stork cooperheat.
 Installation, Commissioning and training of Thermo Scientific Radiation Area Monitor in Kuwait Airways Cargo, Nuclear Medicine Dept’s under MOH.
 Kuwait University Project for the Export of 7 Radioactive sources from Kuwait.
 Installation and Training of Thermo Scientific Radiation Isotope Identifier in KOC, Radiation Protection Department, RPD, Nuclear Medicine Departments under MOH etc.

Knowledge in reading, interpreting, updating of P&ID, instrument loop diagram, inter connecting wiring
diagram, hook up drawing and cable route plan.
➢ Coordinating periodically with customer vendor & suppliers for the actual delivery of the project.
➢ Prepare project schedule on Primavera P6 with WBS, activities and milestones.
➢ Liaise with Site Engineers and collect details from site and other Subcontractors.
➢ Preparation of preliminary schedules for tendering purposes

Installation, Commissioning & Calibration of Process Instruments at site.
➢ Development and servicing of PLC logic program equipping with PLC/HMI.
➢ Updating the progress on a weekly basis based on the progress of works.
➢ Effectively communicate relevant details about our products to the client.
➢ Control Circuit Designing & Panel Designing Using AUTOCAD.
