Sales & Use Tax — Process Improvement & Analysis
• Identified and corrected systemic filing errors in the sales and use tax process; redesigned the jurisdiction-mapping
methodology to align reported sales with client AR portal data, ensuring accurate tax remittance.
• Conducted Nexus analysis for multiple clients — assessing product taxability, economic nexus thresholds, and state-level
sales volumes — producing structured reports with actionable compliance recommendations.
• Designed a scalable Nexus analysis template that reduced report preparation from a multi-hour manual exercise to a largely
data-entry-driven workflow, multiplying team output capacity significantly.
• Developed standardised Excel templates for sales and use tax work papers and reconciliations, reducing manual effort and
improving accuracy across monthly, quarterly, and annual filing cycles.
