Senior Commercial Manager leading all commercial activities for the TAV, CCC and Arabtec Joint Venture constructing the new Midfield Terminal Building (MTB) on behalf of Abu Dhabi Airports Company.

The MTB is a $3bn, technically complex and iconic terminal building exceeding 700, 000 M2 with capacity to accommodate 30M passengers a year when complete.

With a team of approximately 80 people I am accountable for the commercial management, contract administration and claim management with both the Employer and supply chain.

Consultant to a £70m turnover main contractor in London I created and implemented a commercial management manual providing process and guidance for project delivery from inception to completion. Subsequently, as the interim commercial director for the contractor, I took full responsibility for all pre and post contract activities successfully negotiating favourable terms and conditions on new projects and overhauling the internal commercial reporting to produce actionable management information.

• Negotiation of commercial and contractual terms ensuring excellent margin and cashflow.
• Management of internal gateway processes at regional and global level for authority to contract.
• Restructured project process and governance to move internal audit rating from 3 to 1 (highest).
• Creation and implementation of successful change control.
