In this time mentored many who went on to become Engineer leads and Superintendents.
Chevron Deep Water GOM
Planned and conducted multiple activities on the Discovery Clear Leader Drillship in water depths ranging from 5-8k’ (2438m). Steered all phases of riser-less P&A in the Blind Faith Field through effective management of overall project operations.
● Recognized for drilling record-breaking exploratory well in the Anchor Field drilling more than 35.5K’ / 10, 821m to test the extreme reaches of the field.
Chevron/British Gas DW Overseas Trinidad
Assisted Chevron in Latin America and coordinated with a British Gas joint venture for timely completion of challenging drilling project in Trinidad, while serving as drilling supervisor on a semi-submersible on the night shift. Adapted to different company's rules, regulations, leadership, and overall business plan within Chevron's joint venture.
● Expedited passport processing by traveling over 500 miles to ensure arrival within two weeks and intervened to prevent procedural deviations.
● Devoted 12-16 hours per day to ensure adherence to complex drilling plan and manage frequent transitions between water-based and hybrid mud systems.
● Successfully applied pre-drilled production casing in a lateral and executed complex mud transition for completion operations.
