Implement safety program to prevent, correct, or control unsafe conditions.
Promote safe work activities by conducting safety inspection, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with project staff members.
Evaluate existing working practices and make necessary changes.
Prepare reports of findings from investigation of accident/incident.
Participate in risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
Identify safe operational procedures and take account of all relevant hazards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure policies and procedures are appropriately implemented.
Ensure that company and client’s procedures relating to HSE are communicated and implemented.
Supports other functions in the resolution of issues for assigned topics.
Implement HSE Plan & Procedure during Project execution.
Preparing the Risk Assessments and coordinating with HSE Manager prior to start of
respective work.
Ensure the required amenities are provided or available at the work site as well as facilities
for Emergency, First Aid and Fire Fighting.
Perform regular Safety Audits and provide recommendations on corrective actions.
Maintained the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 management systems at the facility and
reporting to management monthly indicators and goals.
Monitors work practices to ensure compliance with established programs, policies, and
applicable regulations.
Recommend corrective actions through pro-active job supervision
Participate on accident/incident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for
corrective and preventive actions.
Mentors and trains project staff as assigned.
Assists in preparing specific reports as required in accordance with program requirements
and needs.
Supports other functions in the resolution of issues for assigned topics.
Conduct and supervise facility and site inspections, job hazards analysis and other evaluation to identify hazards and potential risks.
Make recommendations to managers as required and implement appropriate corrective actions.
To promote incidents prevention.
Advising and instructing on various safety-related topic.
Participating weekly Safety meeting with Client.
Conducting Safety meeting with line supervisors staff to discuss daily base safety issue
Monitoring all site activities and making sure that activities are being carried out in safe & secure.
Carries out daily site safety inspection to ensure adherence to safe working practices, conditions, operations and ensure that personal protective equipment are provided and properly worn.
To ensure that all instructions and notices are produced and prominently displayed in the necessary languages, as appropriate
Records all observations and comments, and reports then on a Daily, weekly and monthly basis to the HSE Department head who, in his turn, reports them accordingly to the Branch Management.
Diploma in Health, Safety & Environment.
Matriculation in Science.
