• Responsible for receiving and dispatch of all goods to company customers and all distribution outlets
• Inventory management, tracking and control by physical counting and also weekly cycle counts, on-system location transfers
• Ensure proper cleanliness and management of stocks especially temperature controlled goods and food stuff
• Supervise team of drivers and warehouse assistants
• Provide timely reports, and data entry into systems.(SAP)
• Coordinate with email and phone with other divisions as well as report to operations manager..
• Preparation of documents for receiving and transferring the stocks to customers and branches.
• Proper disposal of damaged goods
• Supervision of loading and unloading of consignments
• Inspection of consignments for damaged products
• Preparation of claims for damaged goods
• Checking of goods posting by the sales staff against picking slips
