I am currently employed by this German based company which holds the reputation as being the largest textile editor in the world. JAB set up their subsidiary in Dubai in 2008, and employed me take charge of the surrounding GCC countries by either appointing and managing Distributors or managing the countries from our base in Dubai through multiple distribution. In addition to the above I was responsible for discovering and managing our largest worldwide account (who is also based in the UAE) catering to their day-to-day requirements. Duties would include frequent travel to my territories’ visiting new and existing clients, reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis directly to the German VP, analyzing and strategizing the market to develop new business within my territories. Sales territories include: Dubai, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Jordan.
