•Maintaining strong, mutually understandable and long lasting relationship with client at North East Region
•Handling and managing corporate companies who has annual turnover more than 1.0Bn, current handling portfolio is LKR 2.60Bn.
•Actively participate to manage operational functions, to improve operational efficiency and productivity of North and East region branches where necessary.
•Achieve compliance, audit standards, with parameters set on branch operations within North and East region, conducting processes driven, tasks, updating policies and procedures, etc.
•Any other tasks assigned by Senior Manager depending on the requirements.
•Achieving region's profit targets and key performance indicators while managing costs including operational cost and reduction in loan and overdue
•Assessment of credit process (processing loan applications, monitoring loans an ongoing basis) of 9 branches which includes credit evaluations, credit granting, and disbursements, & follow-up collections and recoveries.
•Conducting writing credit appraisals, finalizing risks ratings, narratives/credit notes for credit approvals
•Monitoring covenants on a regular basis, performing validations, and highlighting early warning signals
•Handling security documents of clients and working with legal consultant to identify clear title deed for proposed loan facility's security.
•Assessing market value of properties offered as securities for proposed loans
•Carrying out credit risk analysis and preparation of risk analysis reports to evaluate credit worthiness and risks (Analyze risk and approve or reject loan requests)
•Calculate financial ratios by analyzing financial statements of the clients
•Set up payment plans for clients
•Drive watch listing and recovery initiatives (Follow up with clients and recovery procedure of loans)
•Effectively carryout the credit risk function of clients by monitoring the progress of existing loans, conducting background research etc.

Responsibilities held Overall pawning operations of Chilaw branch Job description,
•Ability carry out pawning/gold loan transactions as per bank's policies/procedures and practices
•Successfully maintained stable pawning/gold loan advance portfolio worth of 450Mn and achieved pawning targets of Chilaw branch, set by management of bank during year 2015 and 2016
•Ability to measure gold contents of any gold article and asses the value of it.
•Held responsibility on pawning stocks at Chilaw branch
•Ability to maintain higher recovery ratio through customer and to ensure only minimum gold articles are eligible for auction.
•Ability to arrange pawning business promotions and pawning marketing campaigns in order to acquire new customers to bank

•Ability to serve different types of customers and to accomplish their request relating to accounts opening function and deposits
•Have sound knowledge on opening various types of accounts in local and foreign currency, issues bank drafts, pay orders, exchanging foreign currencies, accepting foreign currency deposits, processing foreign currency withdrawals, electronic banking products and digital banking products.
