Managing multiple implementation/rollouts, digital transformation, infrastructure, and data projects for IHS Towers. Ensuring delivery of projects key stages and goals within the agreed constraints of time, cost, and quality. Reporting to the Enterprise Architect and Delivery Director and developing productive relationships with business leaders across the organization. Leading teams of size 6-10 resources as per the project requirement. Key responsibilities: o Assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, scope, quality and in accordance with the project goals. o Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility. o Coordinating internal and external resources for the execution of projects. o Coordinating of development and implementation among the different Teams. o Managing the relationships between different internal and external stakeholders. o Performing risk management in conjunction with the above-mentioned stakeholders. o Creating and maintain comprehensive project documentation. o Assuming responsibility for solving problems. o Updating the projects in the Azure DevOps and setting up the Agile ceremonies. o Communicating effectively across all levels, engaging and inspiring at senior levels internally and externally. Key achievements and projects: o Led “Egypt” project which was formed as consequence of the business expansion into Egypt market, the business required to establish the IT solutions and infrastructure to support the operation. Implementations of ERP, Tower management, NOC, Billing, and Warehouse Management solutions. Project 100% completed on time and within budget constraints. o Led “South Africa” project which was formed as consequence of the business expansion into the South African market by acquiring towers from MTN. The business required to establish the systems and IT infrastructure to support the operation. Architecture design led the delivery phases of this project where the solutions were being moved from existing owner (MTN) to IHS Towers. In addition to the infrastructure purchase and deployment, the implementations of ERP, Tower management, NOC, Billing, Smart Meters, and Warehouse Management solutions were successfully done and integrated. Project 100% completed on time and within budget constraints. o Led the “Data Quality” project which aims at keeping overall completeness, accuracy, consistency, and reliability of Master Data across IHS Group of companies. Allowing the organization to have better quality data to make informed decisions using Master Data Management (MDM). Organizational data quality enhanced by 30% during the first 3 months as measured by the MDM tool (Profisee).
Managing multiple digital transformation projects for TAQA & group companies: ADDC, AADC, EWEC, AMPC, ADES & TRANSCO. Leading, monitoring & maintaining progress of project plans to ensure delivery of key stages and goals within the agreed constraints of time, cost and quality. Reporting to VP of TAQA Account and driving and motivating team members.
Key responsibilities:
o Define priorities, plan, review and manage products delivery.
o Establish project steps and milestones, keep control of the scope and the budget, and manage risks and changes.
o Identify key stakeholders, & establish proper communication channels to understand needs and meet requirements.
o Report progress to project board, & initiate corrective action where necessary in order to keep the project on track.
o Direct the team, resolve any emerging issues, maintain a high-performance culture, and ensure tasks are completed and delivered with the required quality levels.
o Manage the project closure and gets the required signoffs.
