•Monitoring the approved and proven manufacturing process in a Timely manner and enforcing acceptable Quality levels in all events.
•Conducting meeting for the Pre-qualifications approvals for the New Material and New process.
•Identifying improvement and Trouble shooting of the critical manufacturing events in the whole process by interfacing vendor and engineering.
•Ensuring adherence of the Manufacturing Schedules by the Vendors.
•Resource planning and Deployment of man power and machine tools those are required for uninterrupted allotment by vendors.
•Co-orientating with Customer Inspection agency, Vendor Quality Department and internal quality departments.
•Updating the daily and weekly status reports to those concerned.
•Maintaining overall cordial relationship with Customer Inspection Agency and the Vendor while monitoring the complete execution of the projects.
•Pro-actively expediting the whole manufacturing process
Project Planning and Execution Management.
•Managing activities right from the conceptualization stage to the execution involving finalization of technical specifications, procurement, scheduling, progress monitoring, erection, testing and commissioning, site management, manpower planning.
•Identifying improvement areas & implementing measures to maximize customer satisfaction levels.
•Ensuring customer satisfaction by responding to customer queries, achieving service quality norms.
•Establishing project review, monitoring and status reporting procedures to accurately report progress of the project to the stakeholders and end user clients.
•Resource planning to achieve effective manpower deployment of qualified workforce.
Sales and Marketing
• Secured good orders from all Government Departments, Refineries, Petrochemical Industries, Defense, Railways, Electricity Boards and PWD etc.
• Having contact with all EPC contractors like EIL, Toyo Engineering, UHDE, MECON, etc
• Obtained Good Orders against Global Competition under Deemed export scheme.
Commercial Operations
• Establishing & Scrutinizing Letters of Credit & vetting of necessary Commercial documents.
• Interacting with regulatory authorities like Customs Departments for obtaining licenses /Sanctions/Clearances &ensuring compliance with various Statutory Obligations.
• Liaising with dealers, Customer through field visit for Order & payment and monitoring financial / commercial discipline with effective cost control.
Export / Import Functions
• Involved in handling complete commercial documentation for export-Import trade in compliance with statutory regulations.
• Interacting with Govt. Departments and regulatory authorities like EEPC/DGFT/JDGFT offices for obtaining Advance /DEPB licenses/sanctions & ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
• Maintaining cordial relations by liaison with Customs and DGFT officials, handling refund formalities.
• Possess knowledge of Deemed exports, QABAL, VABAL, EPCG, and DEPB Schemes.
Purchase / Procurement
• Directing the development and implementation of Key purchase / procurement strategies, contingency plans and ensuring that plans are aligned with projects requirements.
• Formulating budgets for timely procurement of various critical components.
• Ensuring optimum inventory levels for achieving cost saving without hampering the projects work.
• Strictly following the norms for stocking, preservation of materials according to nature of materials.
• Procurement follow the policy by write price from right source, just in time, on required place.
Service Operations
•Mapping client’s requirements & rendering effective solutions to make sure that area of concern can be worked upon for improved service levels.
Erection and Commissioning of Equipments
•Worked in Cement Plant and Power Plant as Foreman and Erection Supervisor involved in equipment erection and commissioning.
