Heading a team of 170 with overall responsibility of the cleanliness and hygiene of the entire hospital . Linen and laundry smooth functioning is also another center focus point . Besides training, recruitment, indent, vendor management, sending MIS, horticulture, Bio medical waste management, budgeting and planning, stock updating are the other key focus areas . Patient satisfaction / centricity with over all housekeeping services is mainly focused .
I was responsible for supervising the cleaning activity of public area and as well as the rooms division . Regular activity was to take briefing of the housekeeping staffs, do the allocation, check vacant and occupied rooms in terms of cleaning and maintenance, look after horticulture activities, was in charge of stores and lost & found . Assist the Exec Housekeeper in budgeting . At times I handled the House Keeping desk activity . During lean period I use to block rooms for thorough maintenance and spring cleaning .
As housekeeping supervisor / shift in charge I was responsible of checking the entire cleaning of public area and the auditorium's . Daily activity included briefing of staffs, allocation and supervising the cleaning activities . Sending MIS report, compiling month end attendance, raising monthly requisition . Planning for extra cleaning and special cleaning were the weekly activity .
