Senior Site Quantity Surveyor reporting directly to the Contract Administrator and Senior Project Manager, on a daily basis on matters covering the whole scope of the project. Responsibilities during the project comprise typically the following:
Preparation of Monthly payment applications and submission/subsequent agreement of certificates with the Client.
Review, preparation and negotiation of Engineer Instructions and Variation Orders.
Issuing and follow-ups of RFQ with various supplier/subcontractors and Reviewing, Preparing the Comparison Statement from the Suppliers/Subcontractor’s Offers.
Preparation and negotiation of the Subcontract agreements finalization of the same with approved Subcontractors.
Monitoring the progress of the Subcontractors works and preparing their monthly Interim payment certificate for all Subcontractors.
Review, preparation and negotiation of Engineers Instructions and Variation Orders with the Subcontractors.
Prepare and submit the financial / cost report to the higher management in conjunction with the Contract Administrator and the Project manager
As Managing Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Department, planned day to day job functions & supervised work with specific Key Performance parameters-
Prepared monthly payment applications using data from SAP updates & submitted/ subsequent agreement of the certificates with the client.
Prepared early stage budgets for the projects and uploaded budget using SAP.
Created sales order in SAP & updated progress of the project on weekly basis & created billing document in SAP.
Reviewed, prepared, & negotiated site work instructions and variation orders.
Created change requests in SAP based on the approved variations.

Prepared early stage budgets & detailed cost plans for the initiated projects, in coordination with the development, design & planning departments & submitted to the Senior Management for their approval.
Prepared & evaluated appropriate commercial sections of the tender documentation received from the Project Architect & Contractors
Attend meetings with Consultant, Contractor to negotiate the Tender price, terms & conditions.
Audited subcontract documents including tender placing report, specification, contract drawings, as built drawings & subcontract agreement to ensure compliance with main contract & identified variation of the work, as required for cost plus contract.
Prepared final evaluation based on the audit, organized meeting with contractor, & negotiated the final account.
Prepared audit report for review by higher management in accordance with the contract conditions.
Handled man management issues as well as monitored resource utilization.
