Treaty & Facultative claims & premiums processing.
Processing financial transactions within internal audit and departmental guidelines (e.g., stop pays, reissues; payment transfers.)
Assist in the renewal process by:-
• Preparing monthly renewal reports and monitoring renewal invitations.
• Obtaining claims information from the Claims Broking Unit.
• Preparing and collating data/statistics for inclusion in market presentations
Processing correspondence (e.g., slips, cover notes, LPAN, treaty statements & Reinsurers closings.) also closing to Xchanging where required
Monitoring and actioning of Dashboard reports, to include reconciliation of payments, reinsurer’s funds, Bureau Held Funds and Contract Certainty.
Managing claim file maintenance to include closings, transfers, splits, claim file audit pulls.
Creating and maintaining technical and production logs.
Efficiently researching claim issues to determine appropriate action.
Researching, obtaining, and documenting claim information to ensure the level of service provided to our customers meets/exceeds expectations.
Assisting Director with special projects as required/requested.
Provision of support to Account Executives, Brokers, Producers, and other client service team members in the overall servicing of the client’s reinsurance programme and retention of the business.
Gathering, preparing and presenting monthly management reports to highlight trends and problem areas.
Developing and implementing/follow up appropriate risk management measures with the client.
Providing lead role in assessment and underwriting of major contracts- analyzing of the risk also deciding on acceptance based on underwriting policy and set the price.
Supporting team development through periodic review, mentoring, counseling, and feedback.
Coordinating quality assurance: system verification, policy/transaction entry, output verification, and in-house personnel/customer education.
Acting as a liaison between end users and technical personnel- Analyze documented systems problems; recommend solutions and detailed specification.
Extensively worked on Reinsurance Claims in Property, Casualty. For normal claims as well as Block and Aggregate transactions.
Extensively worked on Reinsurance Premiums producing cover notes & debt notes including submission of premium to Bureau Markets, Contract Endorsements and Periodic Premium adjustments etc.
Implementing process improvements in the organization; identifying, recommending and implementing ways to increase the productivity and the quality of the team.
Updating management on team’s production, productivity, quality and performance.
Responsible for preparing project presentation, process mapping & process flows.
Performing quality assurance audits, which include analyzing procedures and making recommendations for improvements.
Proficient in managing, training, knowledge transfer, client and underwriters queries and complaints, targeting customer care, satisfaction and retention.
