Assumed the roles and responsibilities of electrical installation responsible person (EIRP) to ensure the compliance with internal & external electrical standards and legislations.
Develop SOPs and Work instructions to Technicians, Train and develop their competence.
Perform Risk Assessments and evaluate content of maintenance plans including Methods, Maintenance Frequencies, Resources, Spares and Tools needed.
Prepare scope of work following the Sabic Engineering Standards and Sabic Best Practice standards in order to award contractual job to contractors. Technically evaluate bids and verify contractor’s invoices to ensure correct charging.
To prepare, review and approve method statements and risk assessment for existing plant modifications and prepare documentation for plant MOC and obtain necessary approvals from authorized personnel.
Participated in implementation of safety process requirements assigned to department including PHA & SAFER recommendation and implementation.
Prepare scope of work for modification and Service for existing electrical equipment, carryout bid reviews and bid evaluations
Supervise the maintenance personnel to ensure Safety, Quality of work, Completeness and compliance and provide day to day support to operations for maintenance, troubleshooting and Technical issues.
Participated in the Bad Actor study and lead the resolution plan and action for bad actor list of electrical system.
Participate in the RCM & Criticality assessment study and lead the action implementation related to electrical system and equipment including SAP equipment registration & PM Plan modification.
Lead an electrical team to develop a comprehensive electrical safety program including work procedures and instructions, Electrical personnel competency and PM program.
Routinely inspect the plant determine additional maintenance needs, inspect work for completeness up on completion of Maintenance activity.
Participated in implementation of EHSS requirements assigned to department including incident reporting, incident investigations and action closure and safety meetings.

2. Review of all Electrical design documentation.
3. Plan, Manage & liase with equipment vendors of Installation, Commissioning and testing associated jobs.
4. Technical knowledge of Generators, Switchboards, Transformers, AC/DC Power Distribution & associate equipment.
1. Responsible for Inspection, Commissioning and repair of new build Vessels and repair projects.
2. Review Mechanical Completion - Commissioning schedule and ensure commissioning prerequisites are captured to mini/micro levels.
3. Review of all Electrical design documentation.
4. Co-ordinate with Team leaders-production support to ensure that all relevant electrical information is passed on to production in time.
5. Plan, Manage & liase with equipment vendors of Installation, Commissioning and testing associated jobs.
6. Co-ordinate with Production and Project department as required.
7. Instruct/Training of third parties about the Electrical Systems on board. Good System demonstrate leadership skill.
8. Inspection of electrical equipment at suppliers premises for Factory Acceptance Test(FAT).
9. Technical knowledge of Generators, Switchboards, Transformers, Variable Frequency Drives, AC/DC Power Distribution & associate equipment, Battery chargers and other Power generation with Power Management Systems.
10. Proficient in MSB/ESB Paralleling (Auto/Manual/DP Split Mode). Performing Acceptance testing with presence of client and approval societies.
11. Strong understanding and working experience with the application of FMEA and critical analysis principles.
12. Identification and recording of Non-conformance during commissioning activities.

1. Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and test various electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment and accessories on board.
2. Commissioning and check the generator safety / shut down system and verify correct working condition as per Client / Class.
3. Verify correct working condition of generator load sharing, parallel operations and synchronization by necessary adjustment on AVR and GOVERNOR.
4. Knowledge on any type / make of PMS system preferred.
5. Troubleshooting, overhauling and carry out current injection tests for various marine approved ACBs.
6. Commissioning of Electrical Main Switch Board, Emergency Switch Board, Electrical Panels, Self Ventilated Transformers (30 KVA, 60 KVA & 80 KVA (440VAC/220VAC) Alarm Monitoring System, Diesel Generator (Volvo Penta), Communication, Navigation, Shaft Alternator and other safety systems.
7. Loop verification of all instrumentation, incorporating sequence checks of Motors and Pumps with other associated control instrumentation.
8. Supervision of Electrical activities at site like…Cable laying, Cable Glanding, Cable Termination, Lighting & Lighting Installation, Earthing installation and Motor No-Load testing for Plan Start-up at site for projects.
9. Field modifications, fault diagnosis & trouble shooting.
10. Performing acceptance testing with presence of customer and approval societies.
11. Being the part of a team for Sea trails & Delivery of the Vessel.
12. Ensure all Safety Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
1. Receives Project documentation and understands Scope of Work related to his discipline what is required.
2. Handled Design & Engineering of VFD based automation Panel, PCC & MCC Low Voltage Switchgear Panel with relay logic, single line diagram and PLC based panel as per Siemens standard.
3. Deftly analyzed design and retrieve information to complete drawing and design, to ensure that the quality of the panel drawings is in accordance with the customer specifications.
4. Responsible for Planning & coordinating with customers.
5. Responsible for preparation of I/O list, detailed Bill of Material and Equipment list etc. regularly.
6. Accountable for detail drawings for automation equipment & Low Voltage Equipment and obtaining the approvals from Customer. Checking the drawing details carried out technical discussion.
7. Co-ordination with factory till dispatch of the materials, attending shop queries to ensure flawless manufacturing and smooth execution.
8. Accountable for the coordination of the team of Engineers.
