Project Title : District cooling plant-01, Al Qudra, DUBAI for EMMAR
Designation : SENIOR CONSTRUCTION ELECTRICAL Engineer
Period : MAY 2017 to January 2018.
Project details: District cooling plant, which includes Substations with Variable voltage levels from 11 kV, 400V and associated equipments. Scope includes Design, engineering, execution, supply, installation, commissioning, SAT, handover, Warranty for all the electrical and ELV packages within the plant.
Job responsibility included but not limited to the following:
• Oversee site activities and make sure all specifications are adhered to
• Authorized permit issuer for District cooling plant L&T EMMAR project.
• Supervision of subcontractor for eexecution/installation of all electrical system: Earthing grid, MV and LV switchgears, transformers, generators, capacitor banks, over head cranes, Variable frequency drive, Battery and UPS system, Electrical Panels, cable tray, conduit, cable routing, cable laying(MV, LV Control and instruments) glanding, termination/connections along with ELV packages (Access Control System, CCTV System, SCS, FAS and Telephone system) of the same as per project specification.
• Controlling &monitoring of resources, manpower, materials& equipments etc.
• Planning of work and scheduling.
• Co-ordinating the electrical punches with consultant/owner engineer in effective manner.
• Coordinate the subcontractor quality engineers and client engineers/third party inspectors to ensure that all inspections, witness and hold points are correctly identified and signed off as required.
• Ensure corrective action is taken where necessary.
• Inspection of electrical equipments& accessories installation at laydown &site respectively and notify inspections/ tests to client engineers.
• Review of subcontractors or vendor documents like ITP, Procedures and Method statement etc.
• Sound knowledge about LOTO (Lock out tag out system)&PTW system.
• Performing electrical isolations and de isolations related for PTW systems.
• Sound knowledge about hazardous involved in Petro chemical field.
• Promote safety awareness and safe performance among project team members.
Project details : 178, 000 m3
/day REVERSE OSMOSIS Desalination Plant, which includes
Substations with Variable voltage levels from 115 kV, 34.5kV, 4.16kV, .480V and associated
equipments.
Job responsibility included but not limited to the following:
* Oversee site activities and make sure all specifications are adhered to
* Authorized permit issuer/receiver for SWRO sidem sadara project..
* Supervision of subcontractor for execution/installation of all electrical system:Earthing
grid, MV and LV switchgears, transformers, generators, reactors, capacitor banks, over head
cranes, Variable frequency drive, Battery and UPS system, Electrical Panels, cable
tray, conduit, cable routing, cable laying(MV, LV, Control and instruments)
glanding, termination/connections of the same as per project specification.
* Controlling &monitoring of resources, manpower, materials&equipments etc.
* Planning of work and scheduling.

entire plant
Project details: 27*6.6 MIGD at MARAFIQ.IWPP MED KSA, which includes
Substations with Variable voltage levels from 4.16kV, 480v and associated equipments.
Job responsibility included but not limited to the following:
* Oversee site activities and make sure all specifications are adhered to
* Authorized Permit accepter No:48 for MARAFIQ Plant.
* Clearing the punch list in Marafiq plant.
* Implement quality system as per project specification
* Review of subcontractor documents like ITP, MS procedure etc prior to send for
approval.
* Sound knowledge about LOTO (Lock out tagout system)&PTW system.
* Promote safety awareness and safe performance among project team members.
* Ensure work being completed as per schedule
* Interface with other disciplines.
* Coordinate inspections with Third party or Owner Engineers at site.
* Ensure corrective actions is taken where necessary.
* Prepare final document for submittal as per project requirement.
Project details: Various 400kV, 220kV, 132kV, 66kV, 33kV and 11kV substations of
the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation - KAHRAMAA, on contract .
Job responsibility included but not limited to the following:
* Oversee site activities and make sure all specifications are adhered to
* Authorized permit receiver for the project.
* Review of vendor documents like ITP, Procedures and Method statement etc.
* Supervision and monitoring of electrical works such as but not limited to Earthing
grid, MV and LV switchgears, transformers, generators, reactors, over head cranes, Battery
and UPS system, Electrical Panels cable tray installation, conduiting, glanding, cable
termination, panel erection etc.
* Controlling &monitoring of resources, manpower, materials&equipments etc.
* Planning of work and scheduling.
* Co-ordinating the electrical punches with consultant/owner engineer in effective manner.
* Coordinate the subcontractor quality engineers and client engineers/third party inspectors
to ensure that all inspections, witness and hold points are correctly identified and
signed off as required/ Ensure corrective action is taken where necessary.
* Inspection of electrical equipment& accessories installation.
* Inspection of electrical equipments& accessories installation at laydown &site
respectively and notify inspections/ tests to client engineers.
* Sound knowledge about LOTO (Lock out tagout system)&PTW systems.
* Involved in testing, precommissioning, commissioning&maintenance activities of the entire

* Attend to daily construction and quality coordination meeting as necessary.
Job responsibility included but not limited to the following:
Oversee site activities and make sure all specifications are adhered to
Ensure corrective actions is taken where necessary.
Ensure work is being completed as per schedule.
Authorized permit issuer on EHT, HT and LT lines.
Experenced in switching, Operation and maintenance of 110/66/33/11kV electrical transmission substation including 10, 12.5&16 MVA power transformers, SF6 gas and vacuum Circuit Breakers, CTs, VTs, Isolators, Earthing Switches, on load tap changers, Control and Relay panels, battery and battery chargers etc.
Issuing Permit To Work (PTW), Sanction For Test (SFT), Limitation Of Access(LOA) to the authorized personals.
Trouble shooting of switchgears and power transformer.
Trouble shooting of all Protection, Control and Indication circuits.
Overseeing inspection and maintenance programmers.
Provides guidance and supervision for other engineering and technical staffs.
Experienced in Single Line/Electrical Schematic Control/protection Diagrams for voltages up to 110kV.
Preparation of Monthly Operating Review reports, interruption reports and Energy Transaction reports.
Ability to carry out Emergency shutdown of the substation.
Creating work order and updating maintenance management system (MMS) and office management system.
Assembling of PC& Software Installation, Manufacturing of
Inverters, Battery charger, UPS &got good knowledge and experience in Heavy Industries,
Electrical substation, factory electrical installation for various types battery charger &UPS
Assembling of PC & Software Installation, Manufacturing of
Inverters, Battery charger, Grinders & Ceiling Fans.
