Joined PVI in task with to bring ISO recertification up to date and to plan and implement ISO/TS16949. ISO re-certification has been achieved successfully aligning all process with documentation. ISO/TS16949 is in progress to achieve certification in October 2016. PVI manufactures automotive sensors and ETC accelerator and Brake pedal systems as first tier supplier for automotive manufacturers such as Aston Martin, McLaren, Lotus and Bosch. As the quality manager I’m responsible for quality management system at PVI with administration and preparation of ISO9001 2015, ISO14001, APQP, PPAP documentation including QCPs, PFDs, DFMEA, PFMEA, work instructions, standard operating procedures, Internal Audits, Supplier Audits and employee training etc.
- Annual savings over £200k achieved last 18 months with process optimization and waste reductions across all the processes within business including supporting suppliers to reduce variation of specifications of the materials supplied, getting first time right within every part of the processes.

* Service Transformation Manager - CPFT, Cambridge Jan 2009 - June 2010 Since joining Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, developed a Lean training programme for staff and delivered 6 workshops training over 100 staff. Led and delivered following trust wide improvement projects.
• Corporate services review & redesign: - Reviewed & re-designed corporate services including performance management, business planning, governance processes.
• Trust wide Standard Operating Procedures: - To standardise and control clinical and operational processes across the Trust.
• Standardisation of meetings: - To save a minimum of 3% costs associate with regular management meetings and to release the capacity of clinical and management staff with introduction of video and tele conferencing technology.
• Development of care pathways with new service introductions.
• Carried out a market analysis for Eating disorders service expansion.
* Business Development Manager - Elizabeth & James Jan 2007-Dec 2007 Set up and managed a retail designer clothing business with two branches.
* Manufacturing Section Head - Unisem Europe Limited Apr 2006-Dec 2006 Managed a team of 30 operators with 6 supervisors and engineering staff on a 24/7 continuous shift pattern.
• Increased productivity by 88% on singulation process saving £495, 000 and achieved 100% on time delivery.
• Led a continuous improvement project for quantity variance of 336k units saving over £30, 000 per annum.
• Launched a pilot project for complete lean transformation of four product families to achieve a reduction of lead time from 8 days to 5 days.
Production Leader - Precision Varionics Intl. Ltd. Oct 1999-Apr 2006
First and second tier automotive supplier to Aston Martin, BMW, Mercedes Benz and Ford. Responsibilities include process development, production and team management to achieve an annual production of 5.2million units with management of staff up to 120.
• Implemented a new MRP system. Managed and improved the supply chain to achieve minimum inventory levels and on time deliveries.
• Managed the development, testing and manufacture of new pedal systems for: Aston Martin, Ford, USA x5 systems, Holden, Australia x8 systems.
• Created functional documents such as process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, control plans.
• Assisted quality department to achieve ISO9001:2000 certification.
• Reduced print setup time saving 450 hours of labour increasing productivity by 72k per year.
• New product introductions: - Following projects have delivered with active participation in product design, setting up of the production lines, introduction to Poke Yoke and SMED, recruiting and training 75 operating personal, start of production, managing shifts, packaging and shipping products to the customer.
1. A $25M, five Accelerator Throttle Control systems for Ford North America.
2. A $1M eight ATC systems for Holden Australia.
3. £0.2M, Engine Management systems for Aston Martin DB7 and Vanquish.
* Manufacturing Accountant - Minra Garments Ltd. - Sri Lanka. 1997-1998 A garments manufacturing and Export Company with over 500 machines and 700 employees. Managed the manufacturing accounts section.
* Accounts Assistant - Seafood Export Consortium Ltd - Sri Lanka 1995-1997 seafood packaging and export company. Gained the work experience as trainee accounts assistant.
Fellowship In Manufacturing Management is a Post graduate programme to develop manufacturing and operational professional in the areas of Leadership, Lean and Six sigma, Process improvement and Waste elimination and accountancy and budget management.
