1) Check-in the passenger at counter & ensure the tickets and other travel documents (passport, visas, green card etc.) of passenger are valid.
2) Through check-in passenger if applicable.
3) Report blacklisted documents to the senior staff/supervisor immediately.
4) To ensure the passenger is not carrying any excess luggage than the permitted carriage allowance.
5) To check the weight of check-in luggage & hand bags & to ensure to deliver excess baggage coupons &collect excess baggage charges in case if passenger is carrying more than permitted carriage allowance.
6) To ensure the seat allocation of passenger as per the requirement of passenger in case if the requested seat is available.
7) To deliver the boarding pass & detach the flight coupons.
8) Arrange for transfer desk/connection services and baggage recheck.
9) Initiate pre-flight/post-flight work.
10) Ensure proper & accurate information/guidance to passengers.
11) Awareness/implementation of policies and procedures of the airlines.
12) Maintain proper communication with the supervisor & other senior officers.
13) Coordination with colleagues & senior staff in various areas to ensure on time
departure.
14) Arrival/MHB (Mis-handled baggage)
