Preparing complete set of documents pertaining to export/import shipping documentation based on L/C and /or other credit terms
Maintaining direct relationship with the bank pertaining to all export/import procedure and documentation
Following-up on the L/C and payment status with Advising/Negotiating/Confirming Bank and ensuring receipt of LC funds.
Coordinating with Accounts Department on customer’s & suppliers accounts reconciliation, maintaining payment records/LTR to ensure the smooth arrangement of funds for upcoming payments and to generate any kind of reports and correspondences

Maintained sales invoices and other financial reports to keep a track of financial performance
Managed accounting entailing preparation of statutory books of accounts, bank reconciliation, party reconciliation, profit & loss a/c and consolidated reports in compliance with time & accuracy norms
Monitored general ledger accounts by creating journal entries, monthly accruals and analyzing accounts payable ledgers
Finalized monthly payroll, leave salary and indemnity statements
Provided management with budget inconsistencies report on expenditure against set budgets
Prepared debtor and creditor reconciliation statements; raised debit / credit notes pertaining to vendors
