- Implementing and ensuring compliance with internal financial & accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintaining 100% accuracy and confidentiality in preparing and reviewing accounting and financial records and statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Solely managing and finalizing the complete books of accounts (i.e. books transactions, cash, payroll, statutory compliance, income tax etc.).
- Handling general accounting functions including basic bookkeeping, accounts payable & receivable, bank & GL account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end accounting and reporting etc.
- Maintaining optimum inventory levels and implementing cost effective accounting measures.
- Handling regular and monthly reconciliations and collections of due accounts.
- Maintaining close coordination with auditors for internals and statutory audits and providing all necessary worksheets/data.
- Providing top management with feedback on financial performance by preparing accurate MIS reports.
- Assisting to control the company budget by implementing finance operations cost/streamlining initiatives.
- Complying with purchase order terms & conditions by monitoring and ensuring timely payments to suppliers / sub-contractors.
- VAT implementation and accounting as per UAE FTA regulations.
- Managing and planning daily operations of big trucks and trailers; tracking reports and informing customers daily.
- Creating, managing, maintaining, and updating accurate files, records and database.
- Providing assistance in all administration, labour and immigration activities.
- Managing a fleet of company vehicles, monitoring the performance of all drivers; and maintaining awareness of federal regulations and safety guidelines.
