Ours is a knowledge based Analytics company. I work in the legal outsourcing dept. for Intellectual Property Law, main domain is Trademark. We extract and review 'European Union' client cases over a huge live database called 'DartsIP'. My work is to review/supervise the analysis of those cases. I do content modification, trademark search, research on point of laws that apply to each case. The main area is EUIPO, WIPO and Nice Classification.
My primary work also includes :
- to look into day to day TM related cases analyzed by the team (5 people)
- to coordinate the same to global manager
- to be active and aware of Workday, HR policies
- to scrutiny and review the time taken in finishing various tasks by each person and report the same
- to see that there is good balance between quality and quantity of target
- to do KPI reporting, check various quality dashboards like Confluence, Power BI, Tableau, YouTrack for regular work
- to stay updated within the system, and learn guidelines for EU trademark law
- to take independent decisions on an analyst's progress
- to maintain harmony and mutual respect within the team, and handle situations calmly
- to attend various virtual global calls and learn about new products, features, company growth
- to learn and use more of Artificial Intelligence in our Trademark and Domain Name cases
I used to work as an intern mostly, it was more like a law firm. I attended some Trademark hearings in IPR tribunals, did few document reviews and analysis of such TM cases as well. It was a learning stage right after college. Decoded various case theories and scenarios as per my fresher capacity.
