Conducting research in the field of mathematical epidemiology and assisting lecturers with teaching.
Lecturing mathematics courses. Some of the courses I taught are: Topology, Numerical Analysis, Ordinary Differential Equations and Linear Algebra.
I worked as a tutor in the University of Kwazulu-Natal (UKZN) in Durban, South Africa. I tutored
several courses which included: Introduction to Calculus, Mathematics for Engineering students,
Numerical Analysis and Mathematical Modelling. The Mathematical Modelling course involved tasks
such as fitting statical data to mathematical models using Excel. The experience afforded me skills in
instruction and interaction with students from diverse backgrounds
I tutored in various courses in the faculty of Engineering and the faculty of Science in the International
University of Africa, Khartoum, Sudan. These courses include: Statistics and Probability theory, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis using MATLAB. This contributed in boosting my confidence as a tutor at university level, performing and coordinating group-related tasks as well as sharpening my skill set in problem solving and computer programming.
