Key Responsibilities:
•Initial site optimization project to provide recommendations for the neighbor sites design to avoid their overshooting and improving quality of the new sites.
•Performing Benchmark drive test between MTN Network and other operators within specified time frames using TEMs tool.
•Performing all TEMs Investigation Data Collection and Network Route Analysis.
•Performing drive verification test for newly on air sites and reports generation.
•Perform cluster optimization for enhancing the overall 2G/3G coverage and solving the issues in weak coverage areas.
•Experience of independent Drive and Walk Testing using TEMS Investigation, Data Collection in Idle and Dedicated modes.

REPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for conducting Drive test, Preparation of DT report and Analyzing the log file to find out problem areas of the network, sorting out Coverage, Interference, Pilot Pollution, Hand-over problems, Call Drop problems, missing neighbors and making Recommendations to improve Coverage and other Drive Test related KPI's.
• Responsible for carrying out Site Audit to know if the physical parameters conform to the planned one.
• Assist in the writing of LOS reports.
• Responsible for testing the functionality of a newly integrated site.
• Verifying soft handover, 3G to 2G IRAT handover, and 3G to 2G IRAT cell reselection, and 2G to 3G IRAT cell reselection.
• Responsible for doing drive test for new sites and as well as for the existing sites using TEMS.
- Working in RF OPTIMIZATION department.
- Responsible for optimization of existing network elements for voice.
- Carrying out coverage, Quality and handover test.
- Responsible for doing drive test for new sites and as well as for the existing sites using TEMS.
- Diagnosed all RF related problems such as interference, Drop call, HO failure and missing neighbors.
- Assists in calculations and preparation of production reports.
- Record entries and filing of commercial documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and Reimbursement of plant imprest.
- Preparation of monthly and annual production summary.
- Provide I.T support to end users in other departments.
