Tasked with formulating and executing strategic initiatives in both the international and local level to cultivate short/mid/long-term leads. Manage multiple market researches both internally and through external third parties to indentify and define product specification, mix and phasing. Key player in our global go-to-market strategy to establish and build our B2B channels. Led a team of 20 employees engaged in a variety of start-up activities, working with technicians and consultants. Managed retail, business and wholesale billing and collection, setting strategy and monitoring key performance indicators. Coached and mentored team members. Resolved escalated issues. Continuously reviewed and improved business functions. Deployed new credit protocols to significantly reduce debt and strengthen controls. Created reports and presented status to senior team. Spearheaded billing system logic implementation.

Key Accomplishments:
• Joined Nawras (Telecom operator) as a specialist and quickly got promoted to Section Head and finally to Department Head or two departments; Operations and Collections.
• Part of the team that successfully launched Mobile Number Portability for the first time in Oman, through extensive planning and execution.
• Built the billing & collection teams while creating professional policies, procedures and operational infrastructure for billing and collection teams, thoroughly documenting practices and standards.
• Took over as the collections department head and was instrumental in the improvement of outstanding debt by 50% through customizing the debt collection process, bring it inline with market conditions.

Led divisional deployment of a new management information system. Monitored irregular accounts and rapidly resolved discrepancies. Collaborated with team members to provide crucial financial information to the Central Bank of Oman.

• Consistently exceeded expectations both in training and in execution of Credit Officer role. • Provided key insights in corporate credit process reengineering initiative.
