First I joined in 2013 as a Cartographer and worked till 2015. In 2017, I again joined this authority as a GIS Engineer. My GIS skills are written below.
I make maps and customize geographic information system applications by collecting geographical and spatial information. I also conduct investigation on plans, maps, charts, and GIS applications. I actively gather geographical and geological information from different sources, such as survey data, remote sensing, and aerial photos to calculate precise heights, depths, relative positions, and other characteristics of the area.
My Cartographer skills are studying underwater depth of lake or ocean floors using Qincy and Hypack programs; develop and deliver final report for further analysis and investigation. I deliver data analysis for Lidar vertical datum and significant shoals to ensure validity of all surveying and analysis techniques. I promote effective communication channel to facilitate exchange of information pertaining to survey results and data analysis.
Here are my accomplishments in this company:
• Improved the data integration and QC process by suggesting improvements and ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Contributed in the data processing for Fugro Company and accordingly defined technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
I reviewed the quality of acquisition and seismic data to meet the terms of a data processing contract. I prepared copies of daily production field tapes, processed weekly and monthly instrument tests, maintained quality of data content, and provided LMO displays. I coordinated with the seismology department to monitor the fold coverage as acquisition progresses. I control SPS data for processing center to arrange data in SPS and Tapes using Geovector system. I collaborated with seismology department for the information on every shot taken to include shot type, shot depth, and up hole time. I actively oversaw the real time data to immediately report any anomalies. I worked with recording and survey department for type of receiver and station elevations.
