The Saudi Aramco Basic Safety Training (Industrial
Apprentices) (BSTIA) provides basic safety training
and awareness for jobs within operations, crafts and maintenance
positions in oil and gas operations. The length of the training
program is approximately 80 hours provides a complete and consistent level
of safety training for new Saudi Aramco personnel.

Start from JAN 2010 up to the Nov 2013.
I start as FSR (Field Safety Representative) until Dec 201 1 .
From Dec 201 1 up to Nov 20 13 working As (Safety Supervisor).
Presently assigned at Ethylene Plant mainten ance group. Where we maintained all plant equipments
not limited to Furnaces (live or shut down), Piping job s. Pumps, Fin Fans, PSV's, Motor, Loading &
Unloading of Chemical, Strainers, Compressors, Fabrications, etc.
General description of responsibilities and task performed:
Conduct safety inspections to ensure the compliance to the WorkPennit, PPE, Housekeeping
and other general Safety requirements and report all safety violations/ non compliance for
corrective action.
4. Conductinvestigation on accidents/ incidents, prepaling reports and
Guidance/recommendations, associated safety measures toprevent the occurrence.
Maintain safety records and provide adequate documentation on occupational monitoring
activities.
ii$ Ensure safety of men, materials, equipments, environment and maintain thesafe working
condition onplant as welf as work shops
Attending safety meeting held byproject Management where safety is the main agenda.
Takepart in client driven safety walk-through/audit, attending departmental meeting
conducted by the client
Conduct regular inspections of Fire Protection/ Safety Equipment toassure itsproper
placement and operational reliability.
Monitor critical activities in chemical area S and provide guidance for safe execution of the
task.
Monitor liftingactivities toensure compliance totheliftplan, same with theinspection of
lifting equipments.
Prepare and submit daily, weeklyand monthly reports to theproject management
