Preparing ITPs and Checklists for the Telecommunication scope of work and comply with the client comments.
Attend QA QC Weekly meetings with Saudi Aramco and respond to the related items and resolve the issues of the client.
Keep an updated record for all quality documents such as RFIs, ITP, TQs, IFC, INCR, MST, MS etc.
Keep checking of company’s Log Book for LBEs and giving the response and follow up for the closing too.
Control the issuance, approval and the closing of the INCR.
Close supervision to Telecommunication QC Inspectors with regards to material, installation, testing of all telecommunication scope of works.
Lead, control and assign Quality Control Inspectors to cover all the site areas and manage internal inspection issues.
Lead the team of QC Inspectors for monitoring the on‐going daily construction activities.
Continuously monitoring QC Inspectors performance and guide them for their responsibilities.
Review and do remarks on the contractor quality document submittals, drawings, TQ and method statement.
Monitor construction activities and assure that contractor’s work is in compliance with Saudi Aramco engineering requirements, standards, procedures, international standards and schedule Q of the project contract.
Conduct routine internal meetings with QC inspectors for further vigilance to the potential problems which must be tackled accordingly to avoid non‐conformity.
Prepare kick off meetings for every new installation at site for the smooth flow of inspection work in compliance with standard requirements.
Reviewing the quality documentations(SATIP, SAIC, drawings, material specifications affecting to telecom activities and making comments per project specifications).•
Regular site surveillance for predicting the potential deficiencies based on standards and project specification. Provide technical assistance to subcontractor’s engineers in resolving quality control issues and engineering related problems as per agreed QA/QC quality program, procedures, designed specifications, standard specifications and applicable code requirements
Incoming material inspections verify that materials are as specified and meet all requirements necessary to assure quality.
Familiar with Engineering standards and procedures and international standards as BICSI TDMM, TIA, NEC, NFPA and Saudi Aramco standards SAES.
Responsible for the inspection of installation of Duct banks, PVC & EMT Conduits and fittings, Cable trays/ladder, racks, cabinets and trucking Cables, Junction Boxes, wiring termination as per the project specification.
Inspection of the cable pulling and the termination of the fibre, UTP and Coaxial cables.
Prepare request for inspection for client inspection for completed activities.
Inspection of excavation, trenches, backfilling, duct banks.
Inspection of the Man Hole and Hand hole pre cast and site fabricated.
Inspection of the Man Hole accessories according to the project specifications
Mandrel testing of conduits prior concreting and after concreting.
Witness sub duct pulling and verify according to the specification and Drawings
Conducted testing of fibre through OTDR and Power Meter.
Testing of the UTP cables (CAT-6, CAT-3).
Witness the Splicing of fibre and the installation of Splice Enclosure in MH.
Raising NCR for a non-conformance on site.
Inspection of outlet boxes, conduit, cable trays for data, fibre and PAVA system.
Inspection of racks, patch panels, switches and fibre optic cabinets inside TR, TER, TIR.
Inspection of the grounding system inside TR and Man holes.
Conduct internal inspection of all completed activities and record inspection findings in the internal inspection logbook.
Communicating client logbook entries to the construction and follow up to complete accordingly.
Coordinate and verify the punch list (EIL) and make sure that all concern parties are informed and take necessary action for clearing every single item.
Surveillance construction activities and provide pro-active notifications.
Familiar with the installation and pre commissioning of LDS(Large Display Screen), OBS(Outside Broadcast System), CCTV, LAN, WLAN, PAVA(Public Address Voice Alarm), TRS(Trunked Radio System), VBS(Vehicle Barrier System) etc.
