• Provide support to Health Education and Promotion activities at facility and community level.
• Represent Italian Cooperation and Program Manager whenever deemed necessary in official meetings, seminars and any other occasion requested.
• Prepare progress and activities reports.

Health Program Coordinator (a project funded and supported by the Spanish Red Cross (SpRC), and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AECID) and implemented by the Sudanese Red Crescent, SRC) Port Sudan, SUDAN.
Responsibilities: • Management and implementation of the Health program.
• Ensures the achievement of the program objectives through indicators monitoring and regular follow up.
• Project resources mobilization (Manage project finances, logistics, equipments and materials)
• Management of the Sudanese Red Crescent health centers and ensures the delivery of a good quality health services.
• Coordinate with the state Ministry of Health and the Primary Health Care Services Department to ensure proper planning and delivering of health services in the target areas.
• Participate in technical and sectoral meetings to ensure visibility amongst local authorities and other INGO.
• Provide technical advice to the Sudanese Red Crescent branch for rehabilitation of two health centers according to the Ministry of Health standards.
• Coordinate with the Ministry of Health to ensure adequate supply of drugs and medical equipment to the centers.
• Coordinate regular trainings for the staff in the health centers and the program volunteers.
• Develop a staff management strategy through preparing contracts and TORs for the staff in the health centers.
• Ensure proper delivery of health education services on Public health, WATSAN, Hygiene promotion, nutrition, reproductive health, STDs and AIDS.
• Coordinate with the state Ministry of Health to develop Information, Educational and Communication materials to be used by the project volunteers for the health education activities.
• Design and produce educational materials in the field of antenatal care, child health, personal hygiene, WATSAN, nutrition and HIV/ AIDS.
• To mobilize the Sudanese Red Crescent volunteers through regular meetings and training workshops.
• Develop a health committee for each center and organize regular meetings.
• Organize the project documentation (contracts, correspondences, reports, photos) and provide inventory list by the end of the project.
• Organization of Open Health Days during which the Sudanese Red Crescent offers free Health services and free drugs distribution for the target beneficiaries.
