• To assist the program Manager in Planning Program Activities and M&E in close collaboration with Red Sea State Ministry of Health (MOH) and Local Health Authorities (LHA).
• Provide technical assistance and support LHA and MoH relevant departments for Primary Health Care (PHC) services implementation at facility and community level.
• Provide technical assistance and support LHA and Nutrition department in organizing a quality dietetics services implementation at facility and community level.
• Support the Academy of Health Sciences and the Continuous Performance Development Center to deliver a quality training packages for the PHC staff.
• Support in planning, implementation, supervision and monitoring of the nutrition surveys (S3M, MUAC).
• Provide technical assistance to Medical Supply Fund (MSF) and LHA in drugs management and rational use of medicines.
• Provide technical assistance to LHA and MoH in organizing Reproductive Health and EmOC services.
• Provide technical assistance to LHA and MoH in Health Information System and data management.
• Provide support to LHA for National Health Insurance coverage expansion and full integration in services at facility and community level.
• Provide support to Health Education and Promotion activities at facility and community level.
• Represent Italian Cooperation and Program Manager whenever deemed necessary in official meetings, seminars and any other occasion requested.
• Prepare progress and activities reports.

Health Program Coordinator (a project funded and supported by the Spanish Red Cross (SpRC), and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AECID) and implemented by the Sudanese Red Crescent, SRC) Port Sudan, SUDAN.
Responsibilities: • Management and implementation of the Health program.
• Ensures the achievement of the program objectives through indicators monitoring and regular follow up.
• Project resources mobilization (Manage project finances, logistics, equipments and materials)
• Management of the Sudanese Red Crescent health centers and ensures the delivery of a good quality health services.
• Coordinate with the state Ministry of Health and the Primary Health Care Services Department to ensure proper planning and delivering of health services in the target areas.
• Participate in technical and sectoral meetings to ensure visibility amongst local authorities and other INGO.
• Provide technical advice to the Sudanese Red Crescent branch for rehabilitation of two health centers according to the Ministry of Health standards.
• Coordinate with the Ministry of Health to ensure adequate supply of drugs and medical equipment to the centers.
• Coordinate regular trainings for the staff in the health centers and the program volunteers.
• Develop a staff management strategy through preparing contracts and TORs for the staff in the health centers.
• Ensure proper delivery of health education services on Public health, WATSAN, Hygiene promotion, nutrition, reproductive health, STDs and AIDS.
• Coordinate with the state Ministry of Health to develop Information, Educational and Communication materials to be used by the project volunteers for the health education activities.
• Design and produce educational materials in the field of antenatal care, child health, personal hygiene, WATSAN, nutrition and HIV/ AIDS.
• To mobilize the Sudanese Red Crescent volunteers through regular meetings and training workshops.
• Develop a health committee for each center and organize regular meetings.
• Organize the project documentation (contracts, correspondences, reports, photos) and provide inventory list by the end of the project.
• Organization of Open Health Days during which the Sudanese Red Crescent offers free Health services and free drugs distribution for the target beneficiaries.
• Build partnerships with other health and development players in the state.

Responsibilities: • Educating and advising patients on the practical ways in which they can improve their health by adopting healthier eating habits.
• Calculating patients' nutritional requirements using standard equations based on assessments of blood chemistry, temperature, stress, mobility and other relevant factors.
• Delivering educational sessions to patients during their accommodation in the hospital.
• Advising hospital catering departments about the specific dietary requirements of patients.

Responsibilities: • Lead, manage and provide technical input to the community Situation Indicators (Early Warning for Food Security) team.
• Represent Oxfam GB in state level coordination activities relating to food security, livelihoods and nutrition issues in the Red Sea State and build relationships with other food security and livelihood actors at local and national levels to contribute to and keep up to date with current analysis and programming.
• Capacity building of Oxfam GB staff in Food Security, nutrition and livelihoods.
• Participate in planning and programming of wider emergency, development and recovery programs with other GOs and NGOs when required.
