Description/Responsibilities:
• 3D modeling and preparation of Design & Fabrication drawings for Conveyor Gallery, Conveyor Buildings, Bunkers, Piperack's, Tech structures, Shelters, Pipe Supports etc. by using Tekla structure.
• Conducting IDC review Meetings, Handling Site Queries and Prepare Sketches for Site Modification work. Prepare Standards, Components based on Engineering Inputs.
• 3D model review and checking of Erection and Shop drawings.
3D Modeling and extraction of Design drawings for structural buildings, Pipe racks, Pipe bridges,
Tech structures, Shelters, Horizontal and Vertical Vessel platforms by using Tekla structure/Aveva
E3D software.
3D modeling of FPSO Module Structures, GBS Modules, Pipe racks, Platforms and Stairs, Cable tray, Heating coil, Pump Caisson, Miscellaneous & wall mount supports etc. and Preparing Primary,
Secondary, Tertiary, Monorail, Equipment & Pipe support, Cable tray supports drawings by using
Tekla structure/E3D software & AutoCAD.
Exporting entire project structures from Tekla structure to E3D platform by using Export aveva
tool & E3D software and clash review with help of Navis freedom. Discussion with other discipline
like piping, instrumentation, electrical, equipment to clear clashes and release the structure on
scheduled date.
Cable Tray support modeling and preparation of Design drawings based on NEMA standard/Project
standard for Green/Brown field projects. Complete structural modeling over existing structure for
cable tray routings and same should be validating with the help of Structural Engineer. Discussion
with instrumentation and electrical disciplines for Tray arrangement and routing change etc.
Conducting IDC review meeting with other discipline to get clarification and clear clashes in the
structure. Preparing mail for all clash points and clarification. Remove all clashes & other issues
before E3D/SP3D loading and clash report preparation.
Prepare bill of materials (structures and fire proofing), Schedules and assist engineering personnel
with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues.
Prepare standards and connection detail drawings for entire Designers team in the projects. checking
of various structural drawings and vendor drawings for respective projects.
• Checking of General Arrangement and fabrication Drawings for Structural Buildings, Pipe rack, Pump house shelters, Compressor shelters, Technological structure and Storage tank structural platforms, staircase, ladder, Roof supporting truss structures etc.
• Handling sites, coordinated construction activities, provided technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordinated with site management
• 3D Model creation and extraction of Design & fabrication drawings for structural buildings, Pipe racks, Pipe bridges, Tech structures, Sheds for compressor houses, Vessel platforms Offshore Deck & wellhead platforms By using Tekla structure software.
• Preparation of Title blocks, Reports, Profile conversion files, bolt catalog, profile catalog for import & export, standard connections as per design drawings for different projects - Tekla structure.
• Participates in design reviews of various phases of the work and performs continuous design review of project proposal and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications.
• Vendor Model Review and gave proper instruction to vendor to rectify the mistakes, clashes in the model by using Tekla structure software.
• General arrangement and Fabrication drawings preparation for offshore structures such as Deck framing plan, Deck framing elevation, Deck joint detail drawings, Bridges, Modules and appurtenances like Boat landing, Conductor/Riser protector structure etc.by using AutoCAD
software.
• Preparation of General Arrangement and Fabrication drawings for Structural buildings, Pipe racks & Pipe Bridges. Detail drawings for steel structural works such as Columns, Floor beams, Bracings, Trusses, Staircase, Ladder, Claddings, Purlins, Grating, Handrails etc.by using AutoCAD software.
• Tankages-Preparation of complicated truss type roof supporting structure, normal internal & external roof supporting structure, stringer and non-stringer staircase, roof platforms, launder platforms for open, Doom and closed roof Tanks.
• Tankages - Preparation of General Arrangement and fabrication Drawings Such as Plate development (shell, bottom, roof & floating deck), clean-out door (cod), Manhole, Nozzle orientation & fabrication, Ladder, Floating Roof drawings etc for different Tanks.
• Tankages- Accurate quantity of structural and plates for material purchase by using Excel & AutoCAD software & Allowable nozzle load calculation for pipe connected nozzles on tank shell & roof by using Nozzle PRO Software.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering From Kerala Government Polytechnic College, Kerala
