• Manage section activities for all the process units in order to achieve corporate objectives in an efficient and cost-conscious manner
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation & legal regulations and continuously monitor achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Implementing Inspection plans for static equipment and piping & providing inputs to turnaround teams.
• Review of inspection test packs (incl drawings, isometrics etc) and of manufacturing record books
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis for Equipment Failures
• Development of welding procedures & preparation of annual budget
• Supervise and co-ordinate the new projects pre-commissioning inspection activities
• Liaising with external service providers
• Ensuring mechanical integrity of static equipment and piping in process plants
• Ensuring implementation of Inspection plans & providing inputs to maintenance team
• Perform turnaround and on-stream inspections
• Retirement thickness calculation, corrosion rate calculation, remaining service life calculation and advising for any repairs/replacement/re-rating requirements
• Focal point for Implementation of ISO 9001 QMS in the inspection section
• Leading a team of inspection Engineers for all refinery units like CDU/VDU, FCC, Hydrocracker and Sulphur Block
• Ensuring mechanical integrity of static equipment & piping.
• Implementing corrosion control program / inspection plans for static equipment and piping & providing inputs to turnaround teams.
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis for Equipment Failures
• Supervise and co-ordinate the new projects pre-commissioning inspection activities
Completed Masters in Technology from IIT Bombay from the Deptt of Metallurgical Engineering. I was awarded scholarship including fee waiver and scholarship. CGPA: 9.2 Awarded the award for best M.Tech Thesis.
Awarded the NTS scholarship during Bachelor of Engineering . Percentage: 73.2 % Awarded the best project award from the Deptt of Metallurgical Engineering
