Execution of order booking & acknowledgement to the customer within the stipulated lead times.
Liaise with the commercial department on irregularities in customer purchase orders, delivery requirements, price variations, payment terms before processing orders.
Co-ordination with the marketing department, internal procurement on product non-commersialisation, replacement options, customer co-efficients.
Generation of purchase order on international suppliers for B2B orders.
Monitoring purchase orders for accuracy and timely execution.

Execution of dispatch instructions (including custom’s documentation) for invoices generated.

Strictly monitoring “letter of credit “ shipments with finance & ensuring generation of lc documents for submission to the bank, liaising with customers for issues relating to lc clauses.
Coordination with inspection agencies (SGS, Intertek) for arranging inspections, approving drafts, acquiring originals certification for shipments exported to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia.
Internal co-ordination with the warehouse on matters of product damage, discrepancy, packaging issues.
Liaising with the claims department on resolving customer claims pertaining to order entry, amendment, order dispatch.
Submission of daily dispatch reports to the customer & weekly order status reports to customers assigned
§ Supervision of the day to day requirements of a portfolio of accounts
§ Act pro-actively on behalf of the principle to ensure all logistical requirements are meet accurately and consistently
§ Liaise with (local & overseas) shipping agencies/ consolidators & forwarders to ensure cost effective supply chain solutions
§ Reconciliation of book stocks & physical inventory in the distribution center.
